In the Triumph, Grumeti has a strong chance of winning but there's not much between him and Pearl Swan - Balder Succes is stable companion of Grumeti, and even though he doesn't have course form unlike the other two, I'd rather back him. But Baby Mix and Sadler's Risk should also run big races.

    Evening all!

For obvious reasons I'll be on Shadow Catcher in the Triumph :D

Don't know if anyone else saw on Twitter - the lad that looks after Finian's Rainbow had an accumulator running that included the 5 Henderson winners. He's bagged over £1million!

Bet365 were left paying out over £1 million after the stable hand for Finian’s Rainbow won a £50 accumulator on the Cheltenham Festival

There were wild scenes of celebration at the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday, with Channel 4 showing two young men going ballistic after Riverside Theatre won the Ryanair Chase.

While it’s not uncommon for stable lads to be overjoyed when their horses win at the Festival, it appears that one of these boys had a very big reason to celebrate the horse’s success on Thursday considering Riverside Theatre’s win made him a millionaire.

It appears as though a member of Nicky Henderson’s staff placed a £50 accumulator with bet365 back in November which featured Sprinter Sacre (Racing Post Arkle Chase), Simonsig (Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle), Bobs Worth (RSA Chase), Finian's Rainbow (Queen Mother Champion Chase) and Riverside Theatre (Ryanair Chase).

I'm reliably informed that HM loves winning these foxhunter races. She won one at Fakenham recently and my boss was having lunch with one of her racing advisors who had delivered the huge trophy to Windsor Castle.

HM was so thrilled with it she said it would be going on the dining table for Royal Ascot week :D

    Evening/morning all :)

Well I have had my own best ever day of a Cheltenham Festival (although well short of 1 million!) 3 winners and Smad Place ew (thanks Stick)

    And on to tomorrow .....

Already committed to Grumeti for the Triumph, lumped on Sea of Thunder, who on paper can't beat Boston Bob, but BB hasn't tackled 3 miles yet, and I regard SOT's fall when well clear over 3 miles as proof enough :) I'm convinced that the Piper will win his dad's race and although there are market moves for Street Entertainer, I'm going with Dan Breen. I like Raya Star in the 2-05 but it's heart over head going for Kauto in the Gold Cup.

Enjoy the final day guys, best of luck to everyone <ok>

How is everyone reading the triumph? Ordinarily I'd have Pearl Swan as the winner but I'm discounting him due to yard form. For the same reason I remove King's horses. I don't like Baby Mix's form against these two so he's out. Sadler's Risk is probably progressive and wasn't fully tuned up LTO but has a lot to find with the first two I discounted on a line through Baby Mix. No doubt he will come on from his last run but he's plenty short enough and I'm not sure he'll come on enough. I can't be arsed to keep going but it's safe to say I've ruled out pretty much every runner <yikes>

I've probably been a tad harsh on Alan King actually. Not Nicholls though.
