    Okay guys, the title says - Question: Do you speak any other languages?

    Just thought I'd start an off topic thread about languages.

    I don't speak any other language, but I'd personally would love to learn and speak fluent in Italian, think that has to be one of my long term goals <ok>

    What I want to know is;

    Do you speak any other languages? If so, please state, if not, is there any particular language you'd like to learn?

    ---------------------------------

    Ps- Please, no racist comments, I don't want this to turn to a slanging match <ok>

    Thanks, LSTUD!

    Hated German lol, was a great lesson though. Just use to pratt about and throw stuff across the room - But I wasn't bad in school or anything <whistle>

    Haha, we did that months ago. Maybe before you joined.
    No specifics, but if I tell you the first game I saw was Everton v Liverpool in the 1962-63 season you can start from there.

    My first derby match was in the Lancashire Senior Cup in , I think ,1958/9!

    I speak French very badly, a little Spanish and even less Russian. I can swear in Portuguese though!

    The problem with latin languages is that to swear really effectively you have to use a whole phrase. Also when you translate the phrases directly they hardly seem insulting at all in English!

    Approach an Italian tourist tomorrow and use this greeting.

    'Geeza da mornie ora yoo getta da puncha' you'll be richer for the experience.

    pretty good in spanish and portuguese ( brazilian) but am working on making it more fluent. Played with a lot of Brazilians in college and growing up and been to Spain, Mexico so had to learn Spanish for those as well. Rusty at it, but usually can get the concept. Better at reading it than saying it.
