So am I, though I'm an opposition fan. Would never stoop so low where I wanted my own team to lose (or not to win) - ever.

 

It's not just their fitness and workrate, but also their passing. They hardly put a foot wrong, except in front of goal.

That said, I reckon they're on drugs. Bielsa's the type to leave no stone unturned.

 

Any United 'fan' who says that they are glad they were beaten is not a fan in my opinion!

I only saw the first half but that first Bilboa goal was bloody class, would have liked us to go through though in fairness, just so that we could have had the chance to add the cup to our repertoire.

This attitude is so pathetic it is unbelievable, but sadly it seems commonplace amongst 'fans' of United!

It baffles me how you could ever hope to see your team lose. Its not a general united thing though. That's 1 person on a forum.

 

Bilbao were class an deserved to go through. Not too bothered were out of this cup. Lets us concentrate on what we do best..Winning Leagues

I have seen this attitude on other forums, on Man-United dedicated forums and multi-team forums such as this!

How prevalent it is is undecided, but the fact remains that there are United fans who tonight wanted their team to lose, that is a fact, and that is imo unforgivable!

I am very new to posting on this site, I was banned from JA606's United board after the United defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup, for suggesting that Liverpool were a better team on the day...and was banned completely after posting an article that United fans (and others) were factually more guilty of using racist comments in the last 3 years than Liverpool fans were!

 

They are a good side, I think they will go on to win it.

 

I agree that we all have stupid fans but it's deff not the majority. All teams would have fans who would rather just focus on the league.

 

Been on the forum you mentioned but hate it. Far too many wums and immature children on there.

 

True statement mate, it was okay up until the admins started banning people from certain boards, it then became a vehicle that allowed childish behaviour and now the site is infested with LAL, LAC, LAMU, LAMC articles and people who are allowed by the admins to just write stuff that is not debatable but just downright childish behaviour, it is not a debate forum anymore, it is a playground! Hopefully this site is better...
