Masch was not flash, but he was the perfect holding player, allowing Gerrard and Alonso to venture forward and to an extent the full backs.

Don't think we've improved too much from last year in terms of performance. It's a start - that much is true.

 

Yes mate, look at the long game, what do you think FSG will do next? They will want to push on, they will not rest until we are back contending for the honours, it may not happen over night, but it will happen. We need to be patient.

Yes, when I joined I had a go at some Liverpool fans for giving the newly signed players stick, then received a few nasty messages for doing so. Luv sent me a PM saying to keep my chin up and said you contribute with some excellent posts.

I have rarely ventured onto GC since I joined this forum but there are some opinions posted on there that can, at best, be described as extreme.
