Not looking for an argument, but you are wrong. he was backed in the beginning, but towards the end of the H&G era, they ****ed the club over and all they wanted was a fast buck. It's clear, I was there and saw it with my own eyes. Why do you think we all dislike H&G so much?

But given the huge turnover of players under Benitez and his frequent poor man management of many players causing them to be resold quickly at a loss, any owners would have second thoughts about throwing more money at him.

I find it hard to disagree with this in fairness. Crouch, Bellers and Keane spring immediately to mind. He definately wasn't helped by the yanks but he didn't do himself any favours either.

 

Building not my line of experience but I've worked for a couple of corner cutters in my time. About to take a bit of a plunge, love the contract I'm on but it's a work away situation so needs must as the offer I have means being at home with the kids etc. Not too shabby a position to be in though, I'm glad to say.

Also, I work for the behemoth BB at the moment an it can be a bit stressfull and onerous with the H&S stuff we have to implement.

Come on mate they not only outplayed you at their place but they were deserved winners at mold trafford as well...and you can't really use the "one team taking it more seriously" excuse. Firstly because you know as well as I do that fergie won't play big players in the games he doesn't care about, secondly because you are the club that not so long ago could compete all season in all competitions and thirdly because you also got dumped out of an easy CL group with some awful home performances (a competition I'm sure you were taking seriously).
