Actually we threw the last couple of games of last season to avoid being in the competition. It would be an embarresment to a club of our proud heritage and tradition to perform in such a inept competition. When we enter Europe we do well, instead of embarrassing English foorball on the continent

 

So what European competition are you entering next year ?

 

Hopefully the champions league. But if not, we will be back next year. We will spend big in the summer. Mark my words.

No chance we're spending big. 30mill investment from the owners is about the best we can hope for after a bad season. We'll be offloading a few players to bump that number up though (johnson looking likely to leave, for example).

Well, we will prob just use it to blood a bit of youth. To be honest we should not have to qualify for the champions league. Champions league football without Liverpool is just not right. We belong on the biggest stage.

At the end of the day, it's a trophy we will be competiting for next season. I want us to do well in it and i'm sure many Liverpool fans think the same.

Jesus Wept, need to stop making us look like fools. You have to earn the right to in it, we have not earned that right for a few years. Is it weird? yes, Does it suck? yes. But we have to qualify like everyone else dude.

FFS, first the europa thing now this? Why is the Europa so bad? If we were in the same stage right now as United and Citeh are we would be playing against PSV, Valencia, Bilbao, Schalke, Lazio, Udinese, Atl Madrid, United, City, and Sporting. Last time I checked that wasn't bad competition. Not the one we want to be in but nothing to look our noses down at. If ( and it looks like it) we are in Europa next year I hope we win it and continue going forward.
