Not having swipe at Chelsea or just saying it, I genuinely thought Napoli were the better side despite the 4-1 scoreline. They seemed to have 'Liverpools' problem last night in not being able to put the ball in the net. They could have score three or four in the opening ten minutes but obviously didn't.
Don't agree. Napoli are easy on the eye but defending is just as much a part of a performance as attack and they were poor. Barring the opening part of the game and maybe 5-10 after we got the 2nd I don't think they showed the quality or work rate that we did. They had nothing left in extra time and we should have had another pen (drogba grapple). We kept their big 2 players quiet most of the game and credit has to go to the likes of Luiz and Rameires for very professional commited performance.

Fair enough but English clubs and the national team have been screwed over with gamesmenship of the likes of the Italians and Spanish for years so I'm enjoying Drogba's from last night. Napoli were at it all night and got what they deserved. Did you see the one where mata had a high (ish) boot but pulled out making no contact and the player went down holding his chest???
I'm glad you guys did Napoli! I hate it when teams go around giving it mouth when they have no right to. Napoli were proper mouthing off during the week demanding £50m for this player and £50m for that player. This loss will remind them of their place in european football. I thought Napoli were terrible apart from the first 20 minutes. They were good on the counter attack but once Chelsea started to defend a bit deeper they completely ran out of ideas. The less said about their defence the better, Aronica made Luiz look like a no-nonsense defender. Can't believe Chelsea are still handing out those plastic flags though. Who could possibly think that's a good idea?
