Ins and Outs

This probs been dun a lot but I cudnt giv a **** and I'm doing another 1

This is who I would sell and who I would purchase this summer

OUT
Campbell and Kuqi both released
Perch for a nominal fee
Smith contract terminated?
Shola/Best/Lovenkrands (1 of them 3 - probs keep Best)
Routledge, Xisco both move away permanently
Krul/Forster (1 has to go I'm afraid)
Guthrie (he gash)
Enrique/Barton (if dont sign ther deals then maybe cash in or let thm go for free in year)

IN
Crouch (I like him, if we could get for right price and if he would take wage drop)
Sturridge/Kalou (If Sturridge doesnt get games he might go, same with Kalou)
Matt Phillips (From Blackpool, fits into what we want. Young and exciting)
Reo Coker (If Smith leaves we need cover for Tiote, he a free)
Warnock/Van Aanholt (If Jose goes then get 1 of these 2, we have Fergie as cover)
Ireland (I dont care if he doesnt play much this season, he is a class act)

Also loan out maybe Ranger for a bit to get him playing week in week out and getting confidence in front of goal - LuaLua, Kadar, Vuckic, Airey, Inman and 1 or 2 more

Team would be:
Steve Harper (Decent keeper, Krul if he starts ****ing up)

Danny Simpson (He my most improved player for this season)
Steven Taylor (Hopefully has a good pre season and stays injury free, class player then)
Fabricio Coloccini (Love of my life )
Jose Enrique (Class but if leaves then Paddy Arnold or Warnock)

Joey Barton (Hope he stays, if he doesnt then Matt Phillips)
Cheik Tiote (Boom Boom )
Stephen Ireland (Get him back to his best then he star man)
Hatem Ben Arfa (Hero in the making)

Peter Crouch (Would be triffic as Redknapp says)
Sturridge/Kalou (Either would be class, probs get neither lol)

SUBS
Tim Krul (Or Harper if he ****s up)
Leon Best (OK sub i suppose)
Nile Ranger (If we loan him out then either Shola or Lover)
Jonas Gutierrez (Amazing sub to have, also would have Matt Phillips as option)
Kevin Nolan (Wouldnt play him every game cos his ability is limited I feel)
Ryan Taylor/Fergie (Good players to have available)
Mike Williamson (Good cover, maybe starter if Taylor doesnt return to best)

Also with players like Reo Coker (If we get him) and maybe another centre back I think that would be a good squad!

No to Peter Crouch. What is he, 31 years old? He's just a **** Andy Carroll.

I totally agree about Sturridge though, and i think he should be considered over the likes of Gameiro and Gervihno.

Sturridge looks like he'll do this business in this league. Definite one for me.

I'd also like to sign another CB. Williamson and Saylor ok as cover, but i want better quality to partner Coloccini. Saylor gets injured all the time, and you never know when he's going to be fit. Williamson is good but we need better if we want to push into the top 10 next season.

Chris Samba would be a great signing, and especially if Blackburn go down. 6-8 millions should get him. We need a leader at the back, and also a physical presence to deal with the tougher teams, but not like Pardew's idea of putting a big Gorilla like Sol Campbell on. Samba would be the perfect parnter for Colo.

 

Outs: Perch, Smith (unless he takes something like a 50% wage cut), Campbell and Kuqi contracts expire, Routledge (fee already agreed, just a matter of QPR getting promoted), sell Xisco or release hi if we cant shift him, loan Krul out (to Celtic if possible)

Shola will never leave us, and we wont get any money for Lover, might as well let him see out his final year of his contract as cover, would also keep Guthrie and do everything in our power to keep Jose and Barton.

Ins (ideally): Gameiro/Kalou, Gervinho, Krancjar/Barnetta, Tiote cover (unless Smith takes the aforementioned wage cut) - cant think of anyone at the minute, and general defensive cover (one player with a bit of experience to cover LB, RB and CB), also someone like Fitz Hall as CB cover if we dont think Kadar's ready for the first team

No Ferguson on the subs bench?

 

He's played about 3 games all as a sub so I dont know yet. Could take New Midfielder's place on the bench though if he continues to impress.

 

I agree about the centre back. I actually wrote Roger Johnson down on the ins but changed my mind haha

Chris Samba would be amazing, but if he left Blackburn it would be for Arsenal, Tottenham or someone like that

Ashley Williams at Swansea is quite a good player and I think he could do it at this level

For me with Crouch, he is 30 but that would not bother me, we could still get some good years out of him and would get goals and much more quality than Shola etc. He has been imense in the Champions League this season so could safely say he would be a top signing imo

 

Looks pretty tasty but I'm thinking does Gervinho work better as a striker or winger? Could also consider Gervinho on the right instead of Kranjcar and someone else up front. Would suggest Gameiro but too little to work on his own? I dunno. So much choice hahaha

...not sure how good a story it is - I never get excited about transfer stories now, in fact I don't even believe half of them until I see the player at the airport!

 

Aye saw this earlier, but I must say the price tag puts me off a bit. Don't wanna blow it all on one player!
But as you say, it's all rumours....
