If Chelsea win tonight it will actually be a good thing, they have no chance of winning in Europe, and all it means would be more traveling and more games for them, and more fatigue, plus if they met one of the big teams, they would get thrashed and it would break their moral, so on the face of it, I want Chelsea to actually win.
Agreed. Plus, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool are still in the FA Cup. Everton have to play again this weekend and then play us... and Tottenham and Chelsea have to play each other soon... so hopefully they will be fatigued playing us.
Two games against Barca will take a lot out of them. I want them to progess and get Barca in the next round. Would be perfect for us.
That would be good and entertaining watching them getting owned after heckling us about barca for about 3 seasons
I'd actually prefer they get through the next round as well, and then get Barca or Madrid in the semi's, the more games for them, the better for us, an extra 4 games at this stage of the season takes a lot out of you, especially in Europe, plus they also have the Cup, so that's an extra 3 games already for them, 5 if they progress from the next round too, and that can make a big difference.

this is fantastic, Chelsea are going to be so fatigued by this game, this is what i was talking about, it's very good for us for Chelsea to continue to progress in Europe.
Chelsea got the win but by god that was a dire performance by both teams. Like you say they will be fatigued after that . Dunno wether it will affect them too much tho . If i was an unbiased chelsea fan i would not be happy with the way they played. Napoli were just more shocking than them.

Basically Drogba dragged Chelsea over the line. He was at his playing and cheating best today. If it wasn't for his continual theatrics today, Chelsea would definately have lost. That last act of pretending to be hit in the face and then looking sneakily was a huge disgrace! What about Torres, the man looked totally useless and missed a very good opportunity to finish it!
But at the same time let's be honest we would still love to be in two cup competitions. Sadly for us we would know that our squad would not cope with it. I mean, just thinking about RVP's replacement if he had rotate in order to survive a hectic week like Chelsea have depresses me.
Cavani to England? If my memory serves me correctly, Germany are now getting four places in the CL while Italy will now only have three... and Napoli look destined to finish 4th at best.
I have seen Napoli alot and thats the worst I have seen them. Dire performance even from their world class players in cavani and lavezzi. Lavezzi had a shocker. Very surprising they were so bad and chelsea took advantage. Napoli wont play that bad again all season I expect.
Where as you are in the hunt for getting destroyed by a big european club at some point. We lost to italian champions...and arguably the most succesful club int he last 20 years..just. You needed extra time to get past a team not as good as milan and a club without its stature
