Off to this meeting tonight to hear Jim Hannah & Sandy Jardines plan. About 40 supporters clubs from here as well as representation from North American Rangers Supporters Association to be present. Have read about their meeting at the weekend and imagine this will eb similar, announcing the friendly we have planned and answering soem questions about the current state of affairs. Also good to hear former N.I politican John Taylor is wanting to get involved with the Blue Knights deal too. A well respected man, successful businessman and lifelong Rangers fan.
Not at all, I am merely playing on the dignity card that Gers fans harp on about. They are still harping on about it.
I remember we (about 10 of us) had to get the Rangers boat back from the Scottish cup final, one of the uber Ulster Huns sniffed out we were fenians (can't remember how) and the next thing ya know there was about 50 of them chasing us round the boat in circles with randomers swinging digs at us while we ran past them. We ended up getting moved by security into the VIP lounge with our own bar while security stood outside. Had to wait on the boat for about 2 hours after we docked as well as there was a big group of the ****s waiting outside and cops were nowhere to be seen. I hate Ulster Huns, even worse than Scottish Huns.
Mick I remember we got the boat over for an Old Firm once and there Celtic fans on our boat. Lifted out their phones and started taking pics of people till some fella went and said something. When we were getting back on board they were sitting down in the family section trying to avoid contact with people. A few lads were winding them up, when they walked up to get drinks the Gers fan was describing him, pretending to talk on the phone. Poor fellas **** themselves. But the meeting went well, discussed more money going into the fighting fund and a few other secret things in the works. We all raised our Masonic beer mugs and sang our secret Masonic songs, politicians and all.
