I see our 'minted' neighbours are struggling tonight. A win for them may prove a distraction for them in the League and give us more of a chance when we meet them. Trouble is I can't bring myself to cheer them on...
Not sure if our game against them is after a potential champions league tie, but any distraction for them is good for us i think and that's all that counts for me.
I think we play them after the semi-final on 29th April. If away goals count in extra time then Napoli may go for it...
I thought they needed to get the first goal, they faded and a lack of CL experience showed. We controlled the game without having to play well but had the experience.
I thought that they all played well District. All rivalries aside,as a genuine football fan I enjoyed that game, I just hope upon hope that I get to see QPR have nights like that in my lifetime.
They are epic. I know a lot of Fulham fans I used to work with that went to theirs and some say the Juventus home game was as good as they've ever experienced. I was genuinely gutted for Fulham they didn't win it. It's taken for granted by many fans but I won't forget the Euphoria of first being in it.
Me too, great game, really enjoyed it - also like the idea of the extra official behind each goal. An extra set of eyes would have definitely ruled Clint Hill's goal in.
I managed to watch the last 15 mins of normal time and extra time and it sure was a nail biter. I grew up in west London and a lot of my mates are Chelsea fans so it was always special if we turned them over; however I will never understand the animosity shown against Chelsea or for that matter any UK club playing in Europe as I believe to support the home team. I really have nothing with Italy, Spain or any other country apart from Ireland where my folks are from and grew up partially. My point being why oh why do you want another countries club to win? I can understand it if you have a heritage from that country but simply cannot fathom the thinking behind supporting the foreign team!!
Same here. Whenever any finnish clubteam plays against some international team in icehockey ,football ,volleyball or basketball im always on their side. Well ,maybe i would be on QPR's side if they play against HJK Helsinki.
Fair play to them, but Drogba's cheating towards the end was stereotypically shocking. Honestly, repeatedly holding his face and getting opposition players carded. He ought to be brought to account for that. He's doing himself no favours whatsoever.
This is an easy one for me. My support, in order of priority: 1) QPR first, foremost and always! 2) England 3) London club over an out of London club 4) English club, including Chelsea, over any foreign club. Two exceptions: Barca. They are just awesome and such a pleasure to watch whoever they are playing! Millwall - always want then to lose! Agree with WLW re Drogba. Pitiful cheating and caught on camera as the commentator said!
