As I say that, Napoli have just scored which means Chavski need 2 goals if they want to go through in normal time

Shame for the lads this. Sounds like a bit of a hammering which I guess we have to just take on the chin and realise how much improvement is needed within the Academy to get level with the likes of Ajax and Sporting etc
Ajax are strong in every position. some of our boys are not upto the job, and our weaknesses have been highlighted. Badly need a good young striker in the side. Ngoo is not enough of a threat....sterling needs to concentrate on his attitude, has been a bit petulant at times
Despite the result tonight, i've enjoyed this tournament. Been good to watch and with the differing styles of play the players have encountered, they will have learnt a lot. The lads will learn from a game like this. YNWA.
Where did Suso go in the second half, he vanished off the face of the earth.. I say we half of a good team in the making there, some kids with the right attitude, who will come good in the future, other, maybe less so. I withdraw my suggestion that Suso and Sterling get a senior outing. maybe if the rest of the senior team were blazing, they could afford to support one of them, but since it is back to the wall for most matches, we just can't be that generous to let one or two of them to find their feet.
Agree disappointing result but yes they will have got a lot out of this They were already out of it but for a mistake at T.Ham we were allowed back in And they got to play an extra game against a very useful side and this will make them learn as well Well done to the lads to get this far
