I rate Kelvin Davies very highly. But to be honest I think Lonners is slightly better. Davies is a fantastic shot stopper but Lonners is a better all around keeper IMO. Davies would have had more shouts for us to sign him if Lonners wasnt so good if that makes sense? Snod & Lallana on the flanks? Would be better than Sinclair/Dyer of Swansea IMO & there handling the prem pretty well (there both in my dream team so I keep a close eye on them) Zigic on 50k? He didnt even earn that when he battered us
Tbh I've never had so much fun as a Saints fan than the last two seasons. Perhaps us going down to League One was a blessing in disguise. I think I'd take McCormack out your squad. I think he'd be the perfect foil for Lambert . If I were a Leeds fan I'd take Lambert for sure. Lambert creates a lot of goals and scores a load. I rate him far higher than Lallana and always have.
It doesn't matter what division you are in it is always good to watch and see your team winning. Leeds probably spent one season too many in Div1 it took a bit of the shine off things. If we had managed promotion one season sooner Beckford would have still had a year on his contract and maybe things would have been a bit better than they are now. Saying that I am optimistic that things will be much happier for Leeds fans if Warnock is still with us this time next season - Meaning that he stayed over the pre-season meaning Bates backed him and he never walked out
Yep saw a couple of games that season (I make do with a different red and white sometimes being so far away) an yes he was quality. Not sure I would take him ahead of any of our reserves but he was way too good for Lincoln City as was Ashley Grimes. If anything Grimes was better than Somma and probably be cheaper however Somma was more grounded as a person and a nice chap to boot. Grimes could get a little fiery If Cardiff needed the money and were to cash in on Whittingham think he would be a great purchase. One of the most consistent players over recent seasons and a quality player. Surprised he is still at Cardiff TBH. Maybe he likes the area. lol Not sure about Brum, Cardiff TBH. Leicester will be fine with their backers and if the unthinkable happened and Gold/Sullivan sis decide they could not afford the hammers' debt they would be snapped up by someone if only for the glamour of owing a former world champion

Although Lambert and Lallana are the obvious ones, I'm surprised that no Leeds fan has said Richardson. He originally came through with you guys, he's having a wonderful season, and you guys do appear to be a little insecure at RB. Haven't you played three or maybe four different players in that position in recent weeks? (Albeit mainly because of injury).
We have been insecure at RB for stupid reasons though. We have a reliable RB in Connolly, he just fell out with Grayson and Warnock refused to play him when he first came. Because of injuries Connolly has stepped back in and done very well, I was tempted to say Fonte to be honest but I don't know enough about him and havn't seen him enough so I said Lambert and Lallana. It'd be interesting to see what the team would be if the two squads were combined I reckon
