Mancini got a lot of plaudits for declaring that Tevez would never play for City again when the player refused to get on the pitch at Bayern. No qualification no ifs. Now Mancini says Tevez will play for City against Chelsea. So should Mancini have said: "Tevez will never play for City again unless we need him to catch United" ?
I think Fergie's had a word, told him not to worry do what's best for the team " I made a c**t of myself last year over the granny s***er and we went on to win the title"
Sorry mate, I have nothing to be bitter about just pointing out a comparison of what complete tw*ts some modern day players are.
That's the thing though!Due to Tevez's cotract/legal rights etc. Mancini can't freeze him out which is what he deserves. If/When he does play he'll only be playing to put him self in the shop window.
I think we all know if RM had his way Tevez would never play in a City shirt again, he has no option so with hindsight maybe he should have said "Tevez will never play for Manchester City again unless his legal team find a way to force us to play him"
"Or unless the board realises that we have to play him in at least three more games this season or he can **** off on a free transfer" Can't say we didn't warn you what a **** you were buying...
He has not done himself any favours but RM has to bear some of the blame, he went way too far with leaving him on the bench and playing him in the last few minutes of games, this unsavoury episode could have so easily been avoided. I see there is now talk of him staying after summer.
Can't say we didn't warn you what a **** you were buying... Was that before or after you lot were begging the govan pisshead to sign him up?
True, but then Tevez was causing trouble and wanting away way before Mancini left him on the bench. As for the whole staying in the summer thing, the cynic in me just again sees that as an effort by the City hierarchy to make sure they get a decent fee for him. Also to ensure clubs don't try to get him on the cheap knowing you're determined to get rid of him.
You could be right but his family are now here which is the main reason he said he wanted away. To be honest i hope he does go in summer he has let himself, the team and the fans down badly and no one is going to forget that in a hurry.
Tevez hasn't been named in the reserves squad tonight so I'm expecting a return on Wednesday. That or he's ****ed off back to Argentina to play more golf. He's a top player and there are times when you think we could do with him. He is a tw*t but if he could be the difference between us winning the title and not...I don't know. If he gives 100% between now and the end of the season then he could be worth a shot. I won't forgive him but while he's a City player we may as well make use of him and hopefully interest other clubs to sign him at the same time.
