"We feel a little hard done by, and it's a little bit self-inflicted. But we want to put things right. "There's a real determination now over the ten games. We're in a ten game fight with four other Clubs." Despite recent results, Mark Hughes's right-hand man is certain that the deadline day double signings of Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora could prove crucial in the R's remaining fixtures. "As a team, we are creating a lot of chances," said Bowen. "We've got two strikers who we feel, with the run-in, could be vital for us. "We've got to continue to keep creating chances. We feel they're getting a good understanding. But the rest of the team have got to give them a chance as well. "By keeping things tight and creating a platform, if they go onto score, we can pick up three points." The R's next top-flight fixture is against Liverpool at Loftus Road in a week's time, but the Rangers Assistant is adamant that the team's mindset remains the same, regardless of the opposition. "When you feel like you are playing well, it's like you've got no fear of playing the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal at home," added Bowen. "We may be proved wrong, but at the moment we're just saying 'bring them on'. I agree a million percent with your last line! I got murdered here recently for saying that before every game the powers that be trot out the usual propaganda. now we're left with a run in that had everyone crapping themselves and we're expected to believe that we can get enough points to survive? I believe in miracles but this is a step too far in my opinion.

I'm glad there's a real determination because the fake determination they've been telling us about for weeks clearly hasn't worked.
