Looks better than the Ferrari, FI and Caterham, but not as good as the Mclaren.

    My thoughts exactly ;)

The presentation wasn't very professional though. That "Chris Martin" bit made me cringe.

    A nice looking car.
In terms of aesthetics, it's quite an elegant solution to the new regulations and I'm expecting the Red Bull to look rather similar.

That actually looks quite sharp... Much better than to other stepped nose cars, especially the Lego Ferrari.

Does look quite elegant, I must admit.
    Can't wait for testing!

Gary Anderson: "The Lotus is probably the nicest-looking ugly duckling so far. Although it still has the lumps on either side of the top of the chassis, at least the top surface slopes down gradually. At the back of the car, the exhaust pipes look like a bit of an after-thought - they just pop out of the engine cover. Although they are pointing at the side of the endplates underneath the rear wing, they are a long way back so their effect will be limited. I wouldn't be surprised to see a change there even before the car runs. One potential area of difficulty is under the driver's legs - there is a very long splitter in the gap between the underside of the chassis down to what is known as the 'tea tray' - where the floor runs forward. This splitter will separate the airflow to the two sides of the car well, but this sort of design can be problematic when the car is going around corners. That's because the car then is sliding at an angle compared to the airflow, and you can get separation of the airflow, which affects the aerodynamics negatively."

I like Gary Anderson's comments on the website even if I don't understand much of it. I hope he is as good on TV. :)

"Good lucking"? If that's a play on words, Eternal, only time will tell!
    ;)

I wonder at what point Kimi looked into replacing Kubiça?

Pretty nice, even manages to get away with the ridiculous nose. Still prefer the mclaren though.

Agree with everyone that that's a nice looking car, even with Sarah Jessica Parker's nose. Also agree that it's mostly down to the paint scheme.

I do like the way these car threads are now being used for snippets of team news in place of creating a new thread for something that might get one or two replies.

Maybe a list of links to them could be placed at the bottom of the House Rules under the one for The Pits.

Kimi was funny on Top Gear when he didn't know what to call the car, a Lotus or Renault :) Interest to hear his thoughts on it, it's basicly a Renault with Lotus as the sponsor.
