When Vermaelen Scored

Just how happy were you on a scale of 1 to loads?
I couldn't watch the match on Monday night, so I got up super early and watched the whole thing before work on Tuesday, not knowing the score. It was just me, watching the whole game, and I went MENTAL.

Watching the replays, he ran SO far to get on the end of it, and after playing for 94 minutes, that shows some serious fitness. It's great to see him back

I do know I swore a lot but I have no idea what else came out of my mouth at the time

 

I was questioning why everyone was walking out the ground on 90 mins given our recent PL games, then the next thing I know Verm's banged it in! I went nuts!!!

 

I think I shouted -- YES YES YES- good job my house is detached. The neighbours would have thought we were having a 'special time'

 

I believe I posted Yes!!!!!!!

Those 3 points meant a great deal to us and it's not only to consolidate our position in the league but also to give encouragement to the team that it could be done. We just need to make sure they do it earlier in the game.

 

Did not see goal in real time, I thought to myself, maybe if I changed channels for the last 5 minutes we might score, so relied on the not606 for updates! Does not always work though!

 

At the Emirates! The guy next to me agreed when I said, "Another chance and we'll score. I'm sure of it."

Just had a feeling we would do it. Vermaelen's run looked even more impressive as I was behind Krul's Goal, honestly you HAD TO SEE IT FROM THAT ANGLE.

 

I'm surprised my neighbours didn't call the police I yelled so loud.

 

I believe I posted that, with "****" on the beginning.

 

I jumped up and screamed YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS.
It was a silent scream though. I was trying not to make a sound, cos everyone was in bed.
