A few teams to good to go down have been relegated. Leeds and especially West Ham spring to mind. What might of been eh!

We would defo have been heading down. Sess before MoN came in looked jaded with life at SAFC. We would have lost him for a pittance in January, along with Larsson, and we would be at the foot of the table fighting for 19th with Wigan.

Steve Bruce is ready to resume talks with Wolves about becoming their next manager.
Following Saturday’s defeat by Blackburn, chairman Steve Morgan — while supportive of caretaker boss Terry Connor — says there must be an improvement if his club are to survive.
Bruce revealed over the weekend that he was disappointed not to get the chance to manage Wolves despite an initial conversation, but he is keen to talk with the club again.
The 51-year-old has experience of escaping relegation with Birmingham and Wigan, which could prove pivotal. Wolves are second from bottom with 10 games to play.

Wouldn't really look on Bruce as a king, just more like an obese geordie fool. Unless you are referring to William the conqueror who was so fat when he was buried they couldn't get the coffin lid down and his body actually exploded. I can see the similarities there.

By your very username you highlight your ignorance...SAFC has a large percentage of our fanbase who are Geordies, and without them we wouldn't be the club that we are..
