Would Spurs getting top 4 be a catastrophe for our coefficient?

I said for years Arsenal's decline truly began when they lost to Liverpool in the CL (2008). Birmingham was just a catalyst but that was the game where Arsenal truly fell apart and never recovered and as a result they lost Rosicky and Eduardo to injury, Hleb to Barca, Diarra was sold as well but more importantly the belief and winning mentality of Arsenal Football Club that had been resurrected by George Graham and then Wenger had finally evaporated.

I said a few years ago that I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal go as long as Liverpool have (20 years) without winning the title and that was before City became the force they are now.

In the old Premier League days, if you finished above United you won the league, simple as. These days not only do you have to finish above United to win it but also City and maybe even Chelsea as well. The League is now much harder to win and we all know what Arsenal are like when the going gets tough <ok>

Arsenal should get 3rd, but don't be surprised if they come up against Stoke or someone like that and hit free-fall allowing Spurs and/or Chelsea to take advantage <ok>

Race for 3rd/4th WILL go down to the last day and I predicted that in January despite people waxing lyrical over Spurs at the time <ok>

What surprises me most this season is that chelsea have been consistantly inconsistant this season yet are only a whisker off 4th despite both spurs and arsenal having exceptional runs of form at some point this season

That post also proves that arsenal are the prems biggest bottlers in recent times and not us <ok>

agree. we've been so crap, playing with ten men and Torres all season. Changed managers. And still will probably end up having the best overall season (cups and league) of the London clubs.

Slipping in a penalty shoot out?

Or bottling the last two months of the season five years in a row?

I would say missing a penalty to win the champions league is pretty much the ultimate bottle job mate. Worse than anything even the spuds have shown us <ok>

I'd say being 4-0 up against a newly promoted side with an opportunity to go 2 points behind the leaders with 20 mins to go and drawing 4-4 is worse <laugh>

How about being 1-0 up in the champions league final with 14 minutes left and losing 2-1

Arent you boys just a tiny bit worried about coming 6th this year? You have the hardest run in by far and are on poor form without an experienced or talented manager (fat frank hasnt got much experience picking teams).

Honestly how you can all be so cocky beggers belief. You are a club in crisis. No champions league next year and it will set chelsea back 20 years. I doubt you will ever meet the ffp rules. And how will you even rebuild without cl footie. Nobody will join you.

When you have football's biggest bottlers, the Francenal, ahead of you in the league. There is always hope
