Thought I could smell something bad................................................... ......................................... Then I realised it was just you!
The LFC website is saying no Bellers on the bench and Maxi instead. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/gerrard-starts-listen-live-3
I am hoping for a good hard derby game lots of cards especially forthe Blue half lots of injuries and a makeshift EFC for the weekend. The result either a draw or a Everton win so we can catch both of you. Now that has nothing to do with thw quality of either team just a totally prejudiced look at the game from Sunderlands view. Enjoy the game lads
Every decent person is hoping for Everton to win. Great manager, great fans, great team. Their opponents, the antithesis to all of the aforementioned.
Hopefully it's more of a 4-3-3 than a 4-4-2. I can't remember Henderson having a good game out wide, if we're playing 4-4-2 then I'd rather we played Kuyt or Maxi out there. It's going to be a very tight game either way. Probably won't be great for the neutral.
Confirmed Everton team. Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Pienaar, Stracqualursi, Anichebe. SUBS: Mucha, Heitinga, Jelavic, Drenthe, Cahill, Neville, Osman. Jelavic on the bench as Moyes goes for Stracqualursi & Anichebe up-front.
That's odd i thought that he made the bench oh well at least Maxi gets a run out people have been asking when he would get a game well here he is
Fairly decent team. I'm hoping for a good game - if a somewhat scrappy (aren't they all!) one. Barring Carragold and Carroll, they all have good engines - they'll need it for the derby, that's for sure! Good mix of youth and experience on the bench, too. Shame there's no bellamy, though. We'll miss his finishing.
You sure? I know he's been a little off recently but he's still way ahead of our other players on goal assists. I read recently only 2 players (Adebayor and Silva?) have more assists than him in the premiership this season....just looking the for positives - devil's advocate and all that.
People only see his assists. The amount of times he loses possession or is awfully positioned when trying to defend is embarrasing for a premiership player. He's a massive liability in a midfield pairing. Gerrard/Spearing is much more solid.
I'm hoping for a game where the ref does not try and make a name for himself.Last derby was a joke by the ref,and of course the same result for us Gobsmacked that Bellers is not included anyone know why???
True, he does need to work on his defensive side. Although with respect to the needless loss of possession - I remember thinking the same about Lucas, before he went on to become such a pivotal player. I'm ready to cut Adam some slack, whilst admitting he does frustrate at times. Another little fact about 'Big time' is that he's won the most free kicks for us - although, to be perfectly honest, he's also given the most away, too. Oh, well, can't become Xavi (either of them!) overnight ...
