http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17346466 Barnet are staying at Underhill for only one more season, so if you have not ever made it there then one last chance. Admittedly we might not play them next season
Thanks Matt I still don't think i'll be taking any chances and am going to Barnet game on a friday night soon. Would be great if we could play them next season though, when i'm not stuck in school
Just out of interest, where are you going next year? Are you going to go to some Welsh sixth form never heard of? Personally, I don't think it'd be that great if we play them next season..
I'm at the boarding school by Kingsland. I promise i'm not posh went to my primary/high school before, not too far from normal. Not even in the mighty JPT? Although the attitude towards it is poor
Ahh I see. Well possibly, although I'd imagine we'd put out a reserve team irrespective of who we draw.
My point exactly! However although I wouldn't be surprised to see a team featuring Leslie-esque players, (he's since up the ffordd to Wrecsam) I don't think it's the GT way. The man has pride in these piss-poor competitions his team takes part in and anyway, you'd hope with our good squad, the likes of Bradshaw and Gornell upfront would pose them some questions.
The trouble is, with players missing game time due to the bizzare abolition of the reserve team, they get rusty - I mean Wroe even missed a penalty for the reserves!
*you're. Silly Rocky. Us posh Bar Stewards up here feel very isolated with others' inability to spell coherently
The reserves have been replaced by a youth kind of team which plays behind-closed-doors friendlies. GT highlighted the difference of playing Bury reserves at Radcliffe Borough's ground and against a Wolves XI featuring PL players. If that doesn't improve us then what will?
hi manfeelings are you at kingsland grange school as i used to live near there in grange road off roman rd , the towns original bypass but attended prestfelde school for 4 years, which was 4 bus journeys a day. lovely buses in those days though.
Almost AJ. Kingsland Grange is the feeder school to Shrewsbury, for ickle ones-13. Opposite the quarry is the main school building.
We don't use keyboards here. Way too posh. We simply think, and small machines wired up to our brains then spell put the words for us on the screen. *Translated: I use Google Chrome for its spellcheck capacity so I can use big words which I don't know how to spell...
