Just been listening to Blue Nile and the magnificent Paul Buchanan. Forgotten how brilliant and underperformed these guys are.

Just dug out one of my Rainbow CD's "Stranger In Us All". Been a fan since 1976. Unfortunately the missus has told me turn it down. It's not quite the same when the windows aren't vibrating.

Love "I Surrender" and the title track on their album 'Difficult To Cure'.

Great tracks indeed. My favourite on that album is "Spotlight Kid"

A great guitarist skipper. Do you remember when he was on the Eric Sykes show?

Brilliant <ok> I also remember "All at C minor with Denny Lane on electric guitar failing miserably to keep up with a nonchalant Williams on acoustic!

For tonights relaxation, it's Ten Thousand Fists By Disturbed. Their best album so far in my opinion.

At this exact moment in time, I'm listening to a load of women, yacking and giggling in our kitchen at work, they went in there at 9:30am to make coffee! It's now 10:01am, still yacking and giggling but NO ****ING COFFEE!!!

Brazilian jazz/dance rhythms coupled with some good percussion now and again is great summer music and mellow as you say. Nothing better than driving along in the summer with the windows open and Sergio Mendes playing.

Just had a quick burst of Bjork before I settle down for the evening. "All isfull of Love" and "You only live Twice" are something special.

I'm sure this one must have been mentioned before but i haven't gone through all 8 pages of the thread so apologies if you've heard this before. I was listening to my ipod on a flight to Naples last week and came across a tribute to our own Holty! Anyone remember 70's welsh rock band called Budgie?
They did a great track called "In The Grip of a Tyre Fitter's Hand"

    Well it made me smile!!!

Yes, some of us would love to stay at home and listen to music all day. Oh well, roll on retirement.
