That was one of the worst performances of the season. Until gerrard came on there was no impetus from midfield at all. Henderson was either poor or missing, Adam was absolute pants.
Henderson looked ok from what I saw but Adam was awful, again! I want to see Henderson, Gerrard and Spearing in a three man midfield and we need to push Gerrard forward a bit more. Obviously, Lucas would be in the instead of Henderson or Spearing when he returns.
Henderson just won't go into the box. But you have to ask, if he is under orders not to expose the team at the back. I watched Adam very closely for a period in the second half, and nothing he did worked, nothing, everything failed. How can you not get something right, even as a lucky fluke?? The thing is, I probably wouldn't sell anyone int he closed season. Se can't make the sweeping changes we made this year, as this years results show. I can see maxi getting out, but I think it is the case of bringing more players in, and leaving the failures on the bench to either improve or go in January or next year.
Wow, really **** game, who didn't see it coming though? We were playing United, Arsenal, Chelsea, man city, tottenham, everton-- anyone outside of this we struggle with. We were missing the "let's ****ing do this" Chris or I wasn't a part of it and missed it.
It was unbelievable how poor he was. Even simple things like getting the ball over a 2 man wall from a decent position he ****ed up. I honestly think I could of done better yesterday - I certainly couldn't of done any worse.
