A win against Bristol City on Saturday will leave us 5 points off safety, with 10 games (one of those being a game in hand) left to play <ok>

This is our make or break game. A loss will see us 11 points from safety, and will probably bring about the end of our stay in the championship. A win gives us a fighting chance, and we still have 4 crunch 6pointers against Coventry, Doncaster, Millwall and Forest.

Keep the faith lads, we can stay up! :emoticon-0116-evilg

It is a must win match, lets hope we have enough in the drawer to get all three points, a draw will not do that is for sure.PUP <ok>

    I disagree.

As 1898 said, this is definately a must win game (as are the follow 6 pointers against the other clubs surrounding us).

Four games against the other four at the bottom. You need to win all four, no draws. Then a couple more wins on top. It's a long shot.

PS Still can't believe we dropped 6 points to Bristol City...sorry about that.

If we go down, you'll get a chance to rebuild your team, get a winning mentality around the club and maybe JPT final?

The teams going to have to be rebuilt no matter what. We cannot continue to keep the team we have now with aging, overpaid players and a wage bill of around £12million. Even if some miracle happens and we get taken over by a billionaire there's going to be major changes to the playing side in the future.

David James want need to worry about having a blinder against his old club as he will only be busy in the warm up before the game

And I'm sure if he has a nightmare there'll be many Saints fans who will accuse him of throwing the game deliberately.

No not at all, when he plays against us he gives 120%, i should imagine against Pompey he will find it hard to get motivated.
