It definitely got banned as teams were getting the ball out really fast when they were behind and taking ages when they were in front. We were discussing it but the ban made a decision for us. Have you seen multi ball in action anywhere in the football league this season? Prime example reading away for those who went.
Nope - it was a general statement. Not necessarily meaning players that have turned professional but I know from mates running kids teams that over the years (not so much anymore it has to be said), parents have favoured their kids playing for Leeds & Forest youth teams in the hope of being given an opportunity at a higher level. To be fair though this was more the case when the gulf between City & Leeds was vast.
I only had a quick look, and to be fair there did seem to be some players who weren't born in Hull & ER (I think one was born in Crewe?), but was just for some examples
It does say Cresswell was born in Crewe. Come to think of it though his name does ring a bell whenever local players are brought up in conversation. For some reason I seem to think he was brought up Pocklington way but that could just be my imagination!
Barmby has the youth teams from U11s upwards playing the same formation as the 1st team and asked for changes in training like no over head height passing, also playing more youth players in the reserves. What Id like to know is when are we go to spend money on the centre of excellence set up? The new academy system is coming in next season and we ll be lucky to make level 3 which is poor when you consider Leeds, Bradford, both sheff clubs and even Rotherham will be level 2? We will always be behind it needs sorting out.
To do with young players in the area and work in the community Do players/ are the encouraged to get involved in youth teams in the area - if not why not To me this would seem like a good way of doing something for the community, improve grass roots football, and could also work as a scouting network
Youth and training facilities are a must ask, they urgently need doing for the club to move forwards now, and the Allams were all for it awhile ago now it's all gone cold and quiet.
Local clubs are invited down on monday nights at no cost to clubs players get coaching and advice on how to keep improving and City get to have a close look at younsters not involved in the C.O.E. The thing is its all packed in one area outdoor on Ideal where the 2 floodlights cover!
Four very good questions. Unfortunatly the loan window will of closed by then so sorting out question one will be difficult if we haven't brought anyone in.
One for AP: Tiger Player only provides extended highlights for some matches not all of them. Why cant we have extended highlights for all games?
A few people have mentioned asking about goalscoring - all we'll hear, for what seems like the 50th time, is Barmby saying "I have full confidence that the goals will start to come, we just need a bit of luck"
Couple of questions.... What plans are in place for season ticket pricing for next season? Can we have a season ticket programme price at a hugely discounted rate via voucher handover in the pass booklet Really like the 4231 formation. Made us hard to beat etc. this formation came from the German team in the last World Cup - what thought has gone into a plan B for the last 15 minutes when drawing? Or is it more important to keep shape and get that point rather than pushing for three Who are our scouts and where have they been recently Are there plans for Ghilas and McShane next season Much was made of Maguire leaving - not heard of him being replaced - is his role now redundant What is the clubs official view of the on-pitch announcer and his round the stands embarrassment. Is this something that is in the sponsors contract or can it be removed Can we have half time giants back please
Yes , top question for me as well , what future plans do the club have for training facilities and is the club really going to focus on developing our own players ? All the money that has gone throught this club in recent years and nothing really done in this direction
Isnt that for us fans to address not the club unless you think goal music or some other American crap would help
The club need to do something as the fans aren't, we don't need Ice Hockey type rubbish but maybe something to do with our club to get people ramped up, did you see Atletic fans v Man U all waving their scarves what's our equivalent of that, if it takes giving out free tat then thats a start isn't it
