I imagine that De Ridder is ahead of Falque because he'll actually be here next season. I really do not see the point in this Falque loan.
Because De Ridder is an impact sub more than Falque is - I'd challenge Falque as being better from the start, but doesn't offer the pace De Ridder does.
Great to see Barnie and also Falque on the scoring sheet. Hat trick for Barnie must feel good. Great to keep a clean sheet also. Looks like everyone is fighting for a place on the named 16. Wonder if we will see any alterations to the bench after these performances ? Maybe a few players will be getting nervous. The competition for places now that injured players are returning for selection will be making a few players nervous.
Look a couple of posts up. Connolly has been getting more time than Sharp recently, does that mean Sharp is behind him?
Having done some very quick calculations De Ridder has played 20 minutes in the last 10 league games (as I said very quick, I may be wrong), which was from one sub appearance. The "one game" card applies to both men
True, but the argument that De Ridder is ahead of Falque still applies as De Ridder has at least been involved in the matchday squad whereas Falque hasn't
I just searched him on facebook, horrified to have friends in common with him. He looks a prized cock.
Probably, although that won't be until next season now, unless we manage to seal promotion/the title with games to spare.
And even then I doubt Adkins is the kind of man who would play nothing but the strongest side available to him, as we saw with Walsall and his professionalism in general.
Amazing how things move on, I'd practically forgotten about Jaidi and Barnard...really liked both last season
