http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/mar/12/kenny-dalglish-kit-deals-liverpool Anyone else think this is so stupid its almost funny; maybe he has a point that managers shouldnt be judged on results alone but his kit deal argument is stupid as surely he had nothing to do with things like that. And yes i can see why he would argue that he should be judged on things on field and off field but does he really want to be judged on non footballing related matters ? really of all people dalglish ? Of course I'm referring to the suarez incident which he dealt with horribly.
Haha got to agree with you there everytime he does an interview on tv or i see something hes said on the internet or in the paper i just think Wow what a **** lol
If he doesn't want to be judged on results, do you reckon he would prefer to be judged on his ability to sign decent players?
I think he's wishing that he'd never taken the job and stayed upstairs where it is easier to hide and point the finger of blame at the poor sap on the bench while the fans sing his name. He's looking increasingly distracted and edgy in his interviews. Even if he wins the FA Cup, come the end of the season the owners are going to want answers as to why Liverpool have fallen even further behind the league leaders and 4th place after significant investment, much of which was drawn from outside of Liverpool FC's coffers.
Results = The players fault ( ala the Bolton game - it was their fault they were not ready, not his ) **** signings = Comollis fault ( he obviously had no input here ) Sponsorship deals = All his work ( nothing to do with the owners or the marketing department ) I think they should give him an improved contact
Dalglish is a club legend so the fans won't want to get on his back in case they're seen as disloyal and the owners will be scared to sack him for fear of upsetting the fans. The only thing that will stop them from becoming embedded in mid table mediocrity is Dalglish quitting and unfortunately I think he will in the summer. He'll point to the Carling Cup as proof that he succeeded and moved the club forward before the new manager comes in and rips up the squad Dalglish has assembled.
Wishful thinking? Thats it famous, the man could get them relegated and they would still be chanting his name.
Maybe King Klown Ken is trying to divert us from the truth: Roy Hodgson last 17 PL games P17 W6 D4 L7: 22 points - Sacked. Kenny Last 17 PL games P17 W5 D6 L6: 21 points- ?
If you look at Roy's record for WBA over the last 17 games then he's got 23 points. Hodgson may not be the best manager but he is a professional manager, a manager by trade, not some smart arse prick who thinks that telling the lads that yehavtbprudtwrthashrt and getting angry with the post match interviewer whilst licking your teeth is all that's required. Klown Kenny.
What are you taking about? As Ku Klown Ken says: 'The squad is stronger than it was last year. What other areas are there to improve on – apart from points?"' How dare you doubt the King?
He is a buffoon pure and simple. Why does he need to talk about sponsorship and deals? All he needs to do is to get a winning team. He has lost it and it will take time for their moronic fans to realise that.
Some of us used to think that his quick witted replies to reporters questions were quite funny. But now his comments seem grumpy bitter and paranoid. His replies during the Suarez episode were classic. If you were a neutral you would definitely be against the scousers after you've heard him. What a buffoon!
