I'm happy to say Hughes was my third choice

But then O'Neill was only my second choice

I wanted us to try for Moyes :undecided:

And I'm very glad we didn't :cheesy:

I supported Bruce to the last, but once he had past the point of no return, MON was most certainly my first choice...

I'll put my hands up here and say I was quite keen on Mark Hughes and was a little worried about MON - careful what you wish for and all that ! I was worried about SAFC becoming the graveyard of his reputation as we were to Mackemenemy !

Well I'm so glad we got MON now !

In fairness to Hughes I've seen it said that he doesn't make a big immediate impact and takes time to build a club up - and time is not something QPR can really afford just now !

Not me I had one hope and that was MON. If he had said no Hughes would have been high on the drawing board though.

I too have wanted O'Neill for a long time. He is the first manager that I've really thought should get the job and was given it! Couldn't believe it when it happened.

Who knows what will happen down the line but this is the best I've felt as to our future.

Moyes was my 1st choice if we could have prised him from Everton.

Happy enough with O'Neil now - though I reckon he deliberately drew against Newcastle the Geordie loving bastard....

I had a bad feeling about MON... I clearly know about as much about football management as Bruce and Shearer's adopted kid... Tash.

Just a side note... Why on earth did you think Moyes would leave?
