Who can forget Wenger's nasty campaign against the likes of Shawcross and Taylor just because they mistimed tackles and unfortunately injured two different Arsenal players? Arsenal have always thought of themselves as the moral guardians of football in the last 5-6 years, I suppose to compensate for their lack of trophies in that period. They bang on about how they get roughed up unfairly by the smaller teams even though their team under Graham and early team under Arsenal was basically a long ball team which kicked the ****e out of anyone who came near them. Wenger criticised Suarez and claimed he dived to win the penalty against Arsenal, yet who remembers Eduardo diving against Celtic to win a penalty? It was in a much more important game aswell

This thread was about Suarez, I never once mentioned Arsenal. All I did was give an opinion on Suarez since this is who the thread was about, but you all did mention Arsenal since it's hard for you to take a few home truths about your own club and dishonest player. Liverpool were very weak in this whole debarcle. Glen Johnson showed more backbone than anyone involved including Suarez and is the only one who stuck to his guns throughout. Ferguson has no right to declare who should and shouldn't play for Liverpool given the shower of ****e he employs but once again with help from the media they've driven another talented foreigner out of England (eh Sven). Suarez is a fantastic player if he has someone to play off, if not he's simply never going to be prolific enough at the top level. It's one thing scoring for Uruguay in the Copa or for Ajax in Eriedivisie it's quite another trying to replicate it in the prem. I'm sorry but while I love the heart and desire he showed and while I don't believe he's guilty of anything more than treating Evra like the twat he is I do think it's the right move to sell him to the highest bidder and sell Andy Carroll while we're there to any bidder. Neither Carroll nor Suarez have any kind of strikers instinct. Suarez scores his goals through mesmeric skill and being completely unpredictable and while that's all well and good, he doesn't finish the easy chances or get across his man or get in the box for taps ins and that's what we desperately need. Carroll? He'd have to get in the box before he could run across anyone, in fact I think the last thing he ran over was the cat that Newcastle let out of the bag when they told the whole world he was ****e and they couldn't believe we bought him for 35m. Actually knowing Carroll he missed it! PSG have money, they're willing to part with it and we need it to buy an out and out goal scorer, an attacking midfielder who can pick out a killer pass (not Charlie "I belong in the Championship" Adam) though I haven't given up hope on Henderson for the future like a lot of fans have. We also badly need a right winger. So in conclusion: **** Ferguson, sell Suarez, You'll Never Walk Alone.
