As much as I would like to agree, I can't. If all prem teams played to their maximum ability, we would be third at the end of the season. I'll take that for now and hope we make some strong additions to the squad that enable us to climb to the top.
Would be close though. City really lack up front which is a crucial position in the formation that most top sides (including us and them) play. They also still lack creativity. People big them up but really have city improved much on last year? Their side has gelled more but they have only added aguero and they lost tevez (who people forget carried them last year). They also added nasri but he is cack.
They are a golden mile ahead of us this year. They outclass us in most positions and I can't think of many City players that wouldn't walk into our squad right now. Gawd, I sound like a MCFC fan
Judging by recent performances, we need 1-2 players only. Poldi (Podolski) is a good start, i'm beginning to lose patience with Gervinho. How can his finishing be so bad?
Low confidence - I am afraid he is going to struggle for a while as he'll lose any momentum when he goes to the ACN next year too (its being held 2 years on the trot).
Well they arent ready yet imo. They have some fantastic players obviously but they arent as good as people make out. We arent far behind but we need to strengthen in the summer and make sure we dont have a mass of injuries again next year. Wenger ballsed up last summer and basically ruined our season. He didnt strengthen till last minute and shock horror it meant we had a terrible start to the season. Hope he gets the business done early this summer. If you cut out the start - all due to transfer mess - then we actually are up with city this year.
After 5 games we were already 11 points off the top. Since then we have been up there with city and manure. And thats without the luck those two have had with injuries. We have had a ton. We can deffo win the title next year if rvp resigns and we strengthen. Wenger is amazing but he did proper balls up last summer. We need to hit the ground running next season.
