wow with 10 games to go and 28 played...you still use squad depth as a tool to beat United with? it has got nothing to do with it now.Now it comes down to balls...experience and know how...and United win hands down,up, sideways and in my back pocket! If squad depth had anything to do with it then United would have imploded by now already OR City would have wrapped it up by now.
Squad depth United can still put out a team to do the job with 10 players injured. City get one or two injuries and suddenly their playing kids and have nobody's on the bench. I remember when LFC fans used to have at least *some* footballing knowledge, now like so many things about the club its just a distant memory.
Since when have we been bankrolled by a billionaire? We spend within our means and only spend money we've earnt. Not to mention that we have spent less than the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Spurs and Liverpool (eveb Blackburn and Newcastle were outspending us at one time).
The owners didn't even have enough money to buy the club nevermind to spend on players as well We're in debt because the Glazers had to take out loans just to buy the club. It has nothing to do with spending on players.
Fixed (Man Utd was on the stock market so wasn't strictly 'sold', the Glazers took advantage of the situation)
Berb, wake up. If you look back at what I said, you'll find that I never said it was spent on players. However, I was sure that you would bite - AND YOU DID
You really are being thick. If you've got a mountain of debt (and you still have a montain of debt) then you must be spending pther people's money. Ask Rangers
The debt was taken out by the owners to buy the club. The debt has not come about due to spending by the club. Jeez.
As long as Mancini is in charge then I don't think City will have great success. The title will go to Utd this season. This sums Mancini up. "Today was not critical. I think this championship will be decided with three games to go," April 30th is a long way off and winning the games up until then is what's important. To me his statement sends out all the wrong signals to his players. With all the mini dramas going on Utd will chip away and win it.
Yes we have debt. Yes we spend money, but it's our own money. Are you suggesting that if you have debt any money you spend can not be your own? How stupid. I suppose everyone who has a mortgage spends money that isn't theirs? The Glazers took out loans to buy the club, that's why the club is in debt. That money has not been spent to boost on field or off field success. Man Utd's debt is falling. How can that be if they are spending money that they haven't earnt?
Did Liverpool earn the money they pissed away on Carroll and the flops? No Was it a blatant attempt to buy into the top 4? Yes Did it fail? Yes Will United have more money to spend than Liverpool next season? Yes
