Only took us 5 years to see rosicky play like he can He was always (I thought) a genuinely world class player. Then it went downhill when he joined us If he can keep it up then we dont need to sign a cesc replacement. he is already here.
Anyone missing Ramsey? Thinks Rosicky is much better for the team, the way he moves the ball faster than Ramsey.
Well, since Ramsey has been out of the team we have been scoring a lot of goals and have been winning.
I remember rosicky at dortmound. He was always one of my favourite players outside arsenal. Then when he came I was really excited but then injuries begun. If he can stay fit then this is what we get. A world class playmaker.
its no coincidence that that useless lump is out of the team and we start winning . Long may he warm the bench . better still . some other teams bench .
When we slow the play down we waste time, don't go anywhere and don't create any chances. We have to win this game, we need to do what we were doing when we got the ball forward quickly, stop gaffing about with it along the back four and in midfield. OXO isn't getting in the game because Song and Rosicky keep going down the right all the time, not his fault the play isn't coming down the left.
Walcott linking well with RVP, Rosicky and Sagna. He is putting in good crosses - hope we see more of the same. We need more from oxocube, let's see how he does next half. I recon RVP has another in him and Rosicky is looking very lively!
To be fair to oxo though most of the play is going through Sagna/Walcott because of how much success they have had so far. I fancie oxocube to have a moment where he catches Newcastle off-guard.
Nice to see Rosicky running at defenders ,if we move it a little bit quicker and dont let them all get back behind the ball we will create chances for sure.
Strange half - very poor defending by us in the first 15, with TV once again at fault (a lot). Midfield grabbed hold of it afte we equalised, and we looked better, but very worried that the defence is poorly set up - TV and Kos are way too far apart (similar to the Spurs game). Tough one to call...
The reason we mostly go through the right is Sagna tbh... he's so much better than Gibbs in the respective position. Wouldn't be too hard on Oxo based on that half, he just isn't getting any action from the team.
More of the same please. Slow, precise passing and possession until NUFC lose patience and formation, then cobra swift strikes.
At least teams are sitting back and time wasting vs us again. Been a while. Start of this season and much of last we were so cack that teams just attacked us
