Maik Taylor has gone out on loan to Millwall, and Arsenal U18 'keeper Sean McDermott has come in. This could mean Cairns has been promoted to 2nd choice and McDermott has come in to cover in the reserves/U18s, or maybe McDermott has come in with a view to a permanent deal, maybe both. Despite having played for Ireland at youth level and having an appropriate name for that position, McDermott is Norwegian born and is apparently a Leeds fan. So, Leeds fans, what do we think of this and what do the Millwall fans think of their new signing?

Sean McDermott, now that's a good name for a Norwegian.

IMO - Nothing more than wage saving, not sure if anyone else has noticed but we haven't gone into a game with a substitute keeper yet with Warnock

I know his dad is Irish, but there still seems something odd about a Norwegian with such an Irish name(I see he's also declared himself available for the Irish national team and has no interest in playing for Norway).

Seems abit strange that we'd sign someone just for the youth team. surely it would have been an opportunity to promote a younger lad.

Perhaps his face fell into his pizza as he took it out of the oven last night?
