A point won be a disaster. I'd say more of a must not lose than a must win but 3 points will be on everyone's mind. COYR!
A well presented thread SCL. From your point of view there couldn't be a better time to be playing us at the moment, but hopefully you'll go home disappointed
If we win this one we will be 11 points above Portsmouth and at the moment we are the club that everyone is saying that we are only safe because of the 10 point deduction. I really feel for Pompy fans but I would like to have a +10 point on them to shut the doubters. I know some will say that they have only struggled because of the restrictions but the table will still say we bettered them regardless of the point reduction.
Thanks DF. Its sad to see what is happening at your place and i hope you can pull through it, but come Saturday our boys will be turning up for the 3 points and hopefully return with them, but it will be a hard game as were where we are for a reason so it could go 2 ways all out guns blazing and loads of goals or both teams to scared to turn it on in case they concede. Anyway good luck for the rest of the season after we play of course
Good thread Shinycitylad7. As much as I love Jamo, and thank him for all he did for us during his time at PFC, I really hope he has an off day this coming Saturday. We must win, a draw is no good to us at all.
Is this the day I will finally experience a defeat at Fratton Park? No - I don't think so. A point each is what I'm expecting.
A win for Pompey would put us 5 points from safety with a game in hand... WE ARE STAYING UP, SAY WE ARE STAYING UP!!!!
The problem is - to win this game, we have to actually put the ball in the net..... .....chances of this happening? Slim to none. Bore 0-0 me thinks!
Yes, good work shiny, neat neat neat. I would love to pop along on Saturday but working 6 - 6. Shame as a lot of fond memories of Pompey, and after 3 points stop off at Pompey kebabs... On a different note, I'm sure I heard that Ben-Haim is on £37,000 per week, wtf?
I can see he has a lot of loyalty to keep taking that much money of you when the club is struggling to pay others??
Our new ld Allan looked as sharp as a razor on saturday against brighton and came close too......I fancy him and varney to bag a brace BP
