What a farce. The case has been dropped through lack of evidence.

Catts case adjourned for 2 weeks.

If there was no evidence, why were they made to wait. Funny how its all blown out after the derby game.

Newcastle police must be just like everything else to do with that city. All hot air and bluster with **** all in the way of facts to actually back it up.

Typical CPS for me, having been in a similar position to Bendtner and Catts I can see them both being innocent and it being some mags accusing them both of something they did not do (wrong place at the wrong time). Then the accuser in question not turning up to court as a witness because they know they would have to lie under oath (yes that happened to me), My case took months to go to court too and and whole time the CPS were trying to get us to plead guilty to avoid a court case.

Up until 2 weeks ago I'd say he was guilty of impersonating a striker !

Martin O'Neill says striker Nicklas Bendtner will be assessed ahead of the weekend's FA Cup with Budweiser quarter-final against Everton.
The striker was stretchered off in the latter stages of Saturday's 1-0 win over Liverpool with a suspected knee injury.

Manager O'Neill said: "We are monitoring Nicklas on a daily basis and he'll be re-assessed towards the end of the week."

So many people were wanting them both to be hung by the knackers for this without even waiting for the outcome.
