Ok, I wasn't going to post on here again and Bob is entitled to his views but this was the post I looked at and nobody can say it's not political, to clarify Miliband and Cameron are undoubtedly cocks as are 95percent of MP's etc. This forum is a lot better without politics being discussed on it.
Actually, that was an attempt at reasoning why I think he's a cock to avoid people thinking its political related as I just generally think he's a massive bellend. So does Clarkson. It's not political, he's just a blithering idiot with a mouth the size of Russia that spends more time open than a prostitutes legs. I really would like to know what bit of that post is political... And I agree they're all bellends but Milliband is the biggest bellend of them all, he never shuts up like those annoying little dogs that just yap yap yap all day. Even Nigel Pearson is more interesting to listen to and that says it all
If you hate the potential discussion of politics so much, why are you posting on this particular thread? There are dozens of other relatively new threads with plenty of discussions going on about football and the like. I don't really get why you should have to anyway - it would only be on one thread - not the whole board/forum. I'm not saying I want to discuss politics, I'm merely pointing out that as long as it keeps to just one thread every now and again I see no harm, the same with any other off topic threads.
Political threads on other boards often get messy, they invariably end up with some racist nonsense, they're definitely best avoided(hence the no politics/no religion rule).
I understand the religion rule, I didn't realise a politics discussion could so be so easily sidetracked too, but fair enough When given the question, 'So, where are you from?' and you give Hull as an answer, the reaction is invariably negative, but I suppose we should be grateful we don't have to answer with 'I live in Bell end.'
That mans name is Mr Mike Riley no less. The bellend who conned us out for the FA Cup Qtr Final @ Arsenal. 2-1 and a Galas way - offside goal. Spit-gate followed.
Ere why is Ken Bates not a bellend Bob. Would of thought he was the biggest bellend of the lot. Simon 21 do you actually check our board EVERY day to see if anyone has mentioned Leeds ****ing United. Get a life bro
In fact sometimes I see thread titles pop up on the Not606 home page. If it appears to be interesting I'll have a look, especially if it is Leeds related, hence why I probably end up on the Hull board often.
AA recently left a £1m cheque with Milliband in London as a 'contribution'. So Millband and Labour get cash... What does AA get? An official honour (which he hankers after) or leverage on buying the KC, or both. If he can't get any change out of Geraghty, Allen, Brady and co, he will go to their paymaster. "I don't speak with the monkey, let me speak to the organ grinder"
When I tell people I'm from Hull, the reaction is invariably envy. You sound like you're mixing in the wrong company.
Just out of curiousity, when Leeds sing the Hull City song 'YRA", do all the fans join in? I only ask cos many of them come from Hants, Northants, Cheshire etc This whole quisling thing does it just apply to football or cricket as well- do you all support Yorkshire cricket like real Yorkshire people? Or is it "Leeds at football, Hants in cricket, Brazil in the world cup etc" Just curious.
I can't speak for my fellow Leeds fans, but I support Yorkshire CC and England at football and cricket. If you were watching our great win against Middlesbrough yesterday you'd have heard chants of "Yorkshire" being bellowed from the Leeds section. The fact we draw fans from all around the country, and indeed the world, doesn't rob us of our proud Yorkshire identity.
Maybe so, but it would be a bit weird to have some bloke from Bolton, supporting a team from West Yorkshire and bellowing "Yorkshire" at a load of people that are probably from North Yorkshire.
Why do so many threads turn into debates about where Leeds fans come from, how many times they've had to fly over Leeds to earn their right to support, or how many have an uncles ex girlfriends mothers dogs breeders sisters stepsons grandad who supports Leeds so they had to follow trait. It's getting a bit tedious now, I thought we'd already established that Leeds are a small club and Hull are a massive club.
