Not having a go at Pompey as such, just saying with the 1st cva still on going. Plus the fact chainrai didn't pay the charities what was owed or promised. It looks a little weird pompey winning it is all. Yes I don't know what pompey fans have done for the community (could have been alot). But the club or should we say owners have let the community down.
Bit rich when I believe the official pompey twitter account has in the past called us "scummers". However, I somehow feel that PFC have slightly more pressing things to worry about right now.
I see the Family club of the year's supporters are showing their true class, this was posted on Pompey on line. "if we have a rough game i can see our fans rioting. i am old but even i would be tempted. one last battle. 3 thousand strong blue army on the pitch. coins smoke grenades flares the lot. westood will probably end up in jail. lets go out with a bang scum wont know what hit them." WTFILN
Any one see Late Kick Off?, Murty was on there praising Portsmouth and their award, explained what it was all about, I have no argument about it, has nothing to do with what is going on elsewhere with the Club.
Due to technical difficulties, I had to watch the London & South East edition again, so I've got the South & South West edition for iPlayer. They had Jason Euell on. Blimey, he looked like he's about 24. I must be getting old. Most Rozzers look younger than me. That's the sign isn't it..?
With regard to LKO's piece about Pompey's award, I think anything that encourages youngsters to learn is a good thing. Saints used to have a similar programme where kids that were falling behind at school could come into the club and have more one to one help. Especially helps young lads who seem more likely to consider learning as uncool. Hope it still exists.
We need to start a keep Sibley campaign. Doesn't warrant any more than a reminder to be careful. Remember Puncheon actually dissed the Don and still kept his job.
Just watched last night's LKO on iPlayer. Great to see video of Rickie and Adam, but comment of the evening came from presenter James Richardson, when the lads were talking about Swindon's chances of promotion, he said... Swindon are going up faster than De Canio's arm at a Lazio/Roma derby. I know one shouldn't, but I couldn't help myself.
