Obviously if someone was to pop up and score the winner in the F.A.cup final (let me dream) things could change our minds, so who is your player of the season?

    I'll add mine later.

    Mine would be:

    1] Sessegnon
    2] Larsson
    3] Gardner

A winner in the FA Cup Final might swing it for someone else mind...

Not made my mind up on this yet as I have quite a list.

    Bardo, Sess, Catts, O'shea, Brown.

    Any of them would do.

Larsson. I hope he gets one or two more goals before the end of the season. For consistency, its him. From the first game to the last game I've not seen a really poor performance. Some vital goals and magic moments, and the season isn't over yet.

He is my favourite player though, so i'm abit biased.

Bardo, O'shea, they've been great. Sess has been wonderful in recent months, and McClean has been immense since he's been in the team. Catts is rejuvenated and i think Mig has improved too.

Still, its very very tough, closer than the last few years, but i'd still go with Larsson.

All of the players have been magnificant and all of them have put in outstanding performances at some point in the season. Its been a real team effort since MON took the reigns.

For sheer effort I recall the game against Man City where Larsson was so tired that he stopped dead in his tracks after passing the ball to McClean for the winning goal scored by Ji. Fantastic performance.

Larsson would be a worthy winner but so would Bardsley or Sess.

Young player is over and done. Young Mackem McClean has pissed it although jack Colback deserves a mention.

Man of the season though is simple to pick.

Martin Hugh Michael O'Neill. If we did win the cup say and finished top 8, could he not be rightly crowned manager of the season? Or half season for that matter? Lol

I'd go Larsson as well, for the pure fact he's been consistently good, as well as occasionally excellent.

He's probably won us the most vital points as well, the Wolves penalty being a slight blemish.

Bardo has been consistent again, if a little below last season standard (or has there been better around him?), Sess, obviously has been immense.

If we eliminated Bruce tenure, O'Shea, who has been 8 out of 10 minimum under MON, and Gardner, would be in the mix.

Ricco, incidentally, is a 7 for the season for me, he'll never get approval alll round, but I think he's had a very canny season.

Richardson has been excellent. Still going strong since the days of Roy Keane. That is a true servant. I don't think there are many fans who can argue otherwise.

Plenty who always do though marra!

Think the lad got tarred, same as Anton, as some kind of London 'big-time' fella, when they were actually 2 very loyal lads.

    Anton loved the club.

    Sessegnon, closely followed by Cattermole.

I was thinking about this the other day, I was thinking Larsson or Sess. With Larsson having been the most consistant so far.

Sessegnon for me. Larsson was way out in front first half of the season but Sessegnon is ahead now for me

All the above proves there are a number of contenders - which is very healthy !

I would have said Sess but others are more consistent and he nearly cost us dear at SDA.

Larrson, even Cattermole who I think has been excellent this season - though like Sess getting a ban after the mags game hasn't helped.

Bardo is Mr consistent but can't see him getting it this season.

Difficult one to call really !

I don't have a problem with Richardson the left sided midfielder, or Richardson the second striker in that Sess role (his best position imo) but I have major issues with Richardson the left full back.

I thought Bridge looked really good 2nd half and would keep him there Saturday too. Richardson would be used in am attacking role for me.

I thought this too, and couldn't understand the low ratings he got in most of the tabloids..
