Im sorry to see the state Queens Park Rangers are in right now. I must say some of the players are very good and impress me. I like Derry, Helguson and Faurlin though the two experienced premiership players have been absolutely dreadful imho.

I cannot for the life of me believe Shaun Wright-Phillips once upon a time went to Chelsea for £21 million pounds. The guy couldent cross a decent ball for toffee, his first touch is just as awful as Heskey's, he is more of a headless chicken than Walcott or Huckerby and when he tries to dribble its funny how he tangles himself up..Braindead is a more appropriate description

Then theres Joey Barton...if there is a more egoistical footballer with such a limited ability and huge ego then i dont know of one....i think he believes he's as good as Zidane or Platini controlling the game from midfield. His performances of late have been dire and I cant believe with his limited ability he made it as a professional. Its funny how he takes control of all free-kicks and corners as if he is some sort of Platini at dead-ball situations...I really think he only got through to being a professional because he was a playground bully and loud mouth

SWP is just quite frankly very very poor and Barton thinks he's Zidane and bad for morale and team cohesion at the club.

    QPR need to get rid

I did think at the time Barton would be a bad influence but SWP has surprised me, he seems devoid of confidence. When I saw him when you played Newcastle at home (and should have won) I genuinely believed he would go on to be a huge success and revitalise his career.

I'm glad we have a Barton and Wright-Phillips thread. It's been a good five minutes since someone said they were crap.

Disagree Barton is learning the hard way ... I have stood alone from the start with my view no point repeating it
He is IMO playing better and SWP has it in him to turn this around
The issue has always been the massive changes that we have made
    Not 75% complete yet
It's where you finish at the end is all that matters
The fickle **** on here shows exactly how shallow football support has become

We have these players now do lets support them to the end
We change in the close season

Would rather have Barton and SWP than Lampard and Torres!

It's vitally important that every day or two somebody gives us their own very unique view on them whilst believing that the matter has never been discussed.

Unfortunatley while I hate these threats I tend to agree that one of the many reasons I believe we will go down this year is down to the poor form of these two key players for us :(

Personally I will keep on posting on this topic until Barton is dropped and preferably leaves my club altogether. The infamous Vinnie Jones season is now fading into insignificance when compared to the Joey Barton season. Gutless and just plain useless.

He's underperformed but he's not been that bad and is better than the potential replacements. Either way, endless posts on the same subject aren't going to suddenly cause the manager to change his mind. They just make this board repetitive with the same old arguments.

When I think back over the years, I am sure I recall a very long list of players who took one (or more) seasons to settle into a new side. Our biggest issue for me has been the number of new players coming in and the amount of change we have gone through in the space of one year. Yes some players have had poor games, but we win and lose as a team.
