with the door more then a bit ajar on spurs I hope the guys really raise their game again tonight and get within a point, its important we win all home games to try and create some breathing space for a hickup away (which is bound to happen in the run in). NUFC have had 5 put past them in recent prem league away games so I'd go for early goals and put them under pressure, if we play a slower tempo i can see them getting a foothold and having something to play for and the crowd will get edgy as usual .. early goals will ease things and i doubt nufc will be able to fight back.
Well we've certainly been effective the last few games but I don't want to get ahead of myself, tonight will decide it for me.

unfortunately, i think you'll thrash us. most Newcastle fans are predicting a heavy loss. We've looked very poor since beating Man Utd 3-0. Not creating chances for Ba or Cisse (Ba has hardly touched the ball last few games) Defensively, once we go a goal down, heads go down and we concede a hatful. Williamson is weak against pace, and too many clearances fall straight to the opposing team. We've been playing too much hoof-ball as well, desperate to get the ball to Cisse and Ba - only Gutierrez seems to want to play it on the floor. Hatem Ben Arfa can change the game, but his retention is diabolical, and he's too greedy. 4-1 to you guys.
big game tonight, we need to win, it will pile the pressure on Spuds, keep the distance on Chelsea, need to keep the momentum going.

You do realize that Spurs are the worst team in the country "at the moment". If we cant agree on Arsenal, can we at least align on Spurs?
