I'm going for a 2-1 win to us.
Not the usual suspects but Jonas and Yohan.

4-1 defeat. I'd like to think we could go there and give one of our disciplined away performances from earlier this season or under Hughton, but I suspect we won't. They're in great form and are always tough at home. Here's hoping but I'll take anything at all.

I think we'll lose. We haven't been convincing since the Man United game. It'll take a performance where everyone is at the top of their game to get something tonight. Still, Ba and 0-1 is 100-1, so I've put a couple of quid on.

They have been in very good form since the half time at Spurs.

We have played well for half a game since Man U. Onthe other hand, that half game was last Sunday.

I expect a respectable loss, but hope for a 1's each

I am going to bet Arsenal to win, then i can't lose. Am getting worried about a form recently, when you look at whats happened to Wolves recently, and we only drew. Other teams are in far better form. Still win all our home games and i am sure we will be in Europe.

1-1 draw for me. Just hoping we play better than we did at WHL.

    hoping for the best

    but expecting a heavy defeat

we haven't looked good defensively recently. and we haven't created chances for Ba & Cisse (Ba has hardly touched the ball in the last few games)

once a goal goes in, often our heads go down - Arsenal will tear us open, get a classy early goal, and after that it'll be scrappy.

If we play 4-4-2, it'll be 4-0 to Arsenal.

If we play 4-4-1-1 (Raylor, Tiote, Cabaye, Jonas, and Benny in the hole) then maybe it'll be 4-1 or 4-2...

You just know at 7.59pm tonight we'll all be believers as usual! Our form is a worry but as Arsenal showed, your next run of form can only be a good half time teamtalk away.

Should do regardless for me. We must drop a striker tonight. Spurs should have taught us a valuable lesson about playing away to stronger opposition who are normally good at home. We need to retain possession and although Benny has a rep for giving away the ball, when he is on the pitch we seem to have a lot more of the ball due to the type of football he gets us to play.

Of course it shouldn't need Benni for us to play that way. We need to stop the long stuff, particularly Krul, but also Williamson and Simpson. I watched a variety of games from all over Europe over the weekend and very few launched it long from goal kicks etc. Why turn it into a 50/50 if you already have possession? We need to play out from the back. The Sunderland game showed us to be a better team when we do. I know people worry about Simpson and Willo in possession, but we have to look past that.

Would have fancied us to get something a month ago but they have improved vastly since beating Tottenham 5-2 and we have been playing worse since losing 5-0 to Tottenham, so think we'll lose 4-1 tonight.

Arsenal have done well recently but their defence is still their weak point and we USUALLY put in a good shift in the big games so i think (wishfully) it will be 3-1 for us. The major factor in this game for us is if we can keep shackles on RVP because the guy can literally score when he wants. Ba and Cisse to click today and get a goal apiece and Cabaye to score a freekick. HTL

As much as I'd love to see HBA play behind Ba in the hole, it would leave Tiote & Cabaye with a lot of work to do with Arsenal 3 CM's. I think AP needs to go with a flat 5-man midfield with Guthrie included alongside Tiote & Cabaye to give us a better chance of winning (or at least competing) in a midfield battle.

Tiote-Cabs & Arteta-Song will be a good match up, whilst Guthrie can drift out wide to clear up any gaps HBA leaves on the right as he tries to help Ba in any attacks we do create. Everyone knows how much of a threat RVP is, but Ba is just as dangerous when given enough oppurtunities (which is exactly what HBA can give if he has the freedom). The game will be won and lost in midfield tonight.

I hope Pardew doesn't pussy out and not play Benny! he said at Tottenham he should have played less attacking players, however we were without possibly the best CM partnership in this division on that day. What the hell Alan just have a go.

6-0 to you lot, although I'd settle for another 4-4 if you go 4 down first :D

    Good luck! <ok>
