    Evening Folks,

Whilst out and about last night on the tiles, we, (the posy) went to a pub / club in Winchester called the Pitcher and Piano. After two hours, who should come through and sit at the very next table, but Kelvin Davies, Richard Chaplow and Dan Harding.

I have to admit, they were three of the most down to earth guys I've met. Had a really good talk with Dan, and his time at Leeds, and the fact he was an England under 21 whilst at Brighton (before he went to Leeds). Dan went on to say that he enjoyed his time at ER, and hoped Leeds would make the play offs. Kelvin seemed a little more uneasy as I whispered in his ear that I, and the rest of the table text to him were Leeds fans (I was the only one). He also was very approachable, and had a good chat about his performance which he put down to 'one of those games'

Nice post, and a good win today, and if you can see your way to hammering Hammers on Saturday, we could be friends!

As long as you beat the likes of Cardiff, Brighton, Hull, Blackpool and Birmingham if you have any of them to play ;)

Hull and Blackpool. If we beat both of them I'll be over the moon.

Hmm, stills struggling to see us with a chance of play-offs though. If we beat West Ham, thats when my hope will go back up

It is a good time to play West Ham, but on the other hand you could be on the end of a backlash. I really thought Middlesborough were poor today and although the referee didn't help Boro, Leeds were far the better side.

On a note about Kelvin Davis', I have seen him wandering around Southampton on a number of occasions and he always seem happy to interact with the people that engage him in conversation.

OddRiverOakWizards (what a name) I really didn't think Leeds were anything special though. Boro just played badly imo and I reckon we will seriously need to up our game in that if we want anything from it. Hence the reason I am not getting excited yet

True Josh, thanks for the compliment :), but you also have to consider that Leeds didn't need to get out of second gear to win the match. Middlesborough never really threatened and as a result your side just closed the game out, which is an achievement for a team who hasn't won away for so long. Warnock builds from the back and you have been more solid in recent weeks, with players like Snodgrass you always have the chance of winning a game.

Secondly, if Middlesborough can get up to fourth and I have seen them put in some abject performances then there is no reason that you cannot get there!

Yea, you have a good point I suppose. Hopefully we can put a real effort in now. The defence has always been a problem and that is the one thing you need to hand to Warnock. He has improved it no end

See you are starting to believe. Remember this league defies logic anyway :D! You know that Warnock will not suffer fools, demand a 100 % and get the players believing with a siege mentality knowing Warnocks play-off/promotion record so you never know. It is easier to coldly analyse the situation when it is not your own team, I am just glad we grabbed the three points in our swag bag off you last week. The West Ham game should be a feisty affair and may well see West Ham battling to get back into the autos as Reading will have played their game in hand before then!

Yes, you guys beating West Ham would be very much appreciated. And just think how much it would scare all those sides between yourselves and the top three? Six points vs Boro and West Ham, when they'd all have been anticipating you dropping points in both. And of course if you can take three points off of those sides, you can take them off of anyone really. I'd certainly be seriously worried if I were a Hull or Brighton or Cardiff etc fan, if you beat West Ham.

Southampton and Boro both looked like average teams but was that down to the style of play that Warnock has Leeds playing? We are giving teams very little time on the ball, Brown and Clayton are providing cover and players are looking busy and greedy to win the ball for a change.

Would love you to beat WH but you obviously have a good system to handle passing teams like us and middlesbrough closing down well. But WH are just a hood team! i hope you have a great system for them like you did for us, rooting for you to get the three points you have the quality in your team so why not! Bu
