Getting promotion is all in our own hands but a little help from our 'friends' would be welcome. If P'boro lose and we win Saturday we can be 2nd going into an unwelcome break at the weekend. However, would it be better to get a draw so both MK Dons and P'boro lose ground. My heart is ruling my head and I favour 2nd now...what do you think?:emoticon-0112-wonde

Mk Dons win. They would be level on points (much worse goal difference) and we would have 3 games in hand so we shouldn't have to worry too much about them. Peterborough have been on a brilliant run and we need someone to stop them as I think they will be our main rivals for 2nd

Last Tuesday some members was hoping Wednesday was doing us a favour ...and that hope faded very quickly!

To hope for MK Dons to do the same... Have you lot not learnt your lesson yet!

IMO - I cant see Posh slipping anytime soon with Mackail-Smith / Boyd getting on the score sheet

Lets concentrate on our own fixtures and get the maximum we can get out of our own rather than look for favours, then when "Udders / Posh" slip up we have to take advantage!!

Dont get me wrong - I would love MK DONS to win ... but we got to look at our games and focus on that than relying on others! (If you know what I mean)

I know it's in our own hands and we're in form at the moment, but I would still like some leeway. It's very hard winning all games, so that even a draw appears to be a disaster. Luckily it will be just as hard for the other teams.

May I suggest that to improve your little investigation you look at the recent form of both sides? Dons have won their last 4 games scoring 10 and conceding 2 in the process. Sam Baldock has scored 5 in the last 3.

It's difficult to call but I think Dons will edge it. Definitely not a sure thing like you're suggesting.

Earlier in the season I predicted these two teams will meet in the playoff final and I stand by that. Nothing between them.

I want an MK Dons win, CMS having lumps kicked out of him and out for a month, Boyd sent off and Barry Fry overdosing on pork pies. Other than that I'm not too bothered.

they are on a 4 match run, posh on an 8
they havent played the best teams around on there 4 match run either
you will see later on tonight that this match has a posh win written all over it!!

the firepower of posh is far to strong for the dons and now boro's deence has sorted itself out to i honestly reckon automatic promotion is a real possibility.
the 3 teams going up will be brighton, posh and saints.

remember these comments tomorrow and come back and see me :-)
