it was any carrolls first game after inury,
we had a game on thurs night and our players were not probably rested,
suarez was bullied for 90 minutes
we were missing our captain fantastic,

just some of the excuses lfc are lining up after their visit to the sol
 
ones I dont want to hear

they froze on the day
it was men against boys
we had our chances but you need to take them at this level
the keeper must do better
our defence fell asleep

and our all time number 1.......I expect a reaction next week

The first three goals were clearly off side
Carroll did not head but him, he slipped and lost his footing..... he should never have been sent off
 
Stop Carroll getting a running jump at the ball and he looks pretty ordinary. Anyone think Liverpool will use the long diagonal ball for knockdowns ala Barton to Carroll to Nolan? Doesn't seem their style of play.

We thought Gyan would miss those 6 pens we gave away. After the world cup we thought that it was safer to foul the Sunderland players in the box rather than letting them shoot. I will never listen to suarez again!!!!
