What's up twf'y, are you a short-arse? No need to be so "short" with OLM, just cause he asked how old you were at a certain period in time!

p.s., you're not ginger as well, are you??

The short arse thing was only a sarcastic remark, it didn't really warrant a response.

Barmby is obviously not the future, he's at the end of his career, but he has made a bigger contribution to Hull City than any other player currently at the club and over the past seven years there's only Deano, Ash, Turner and Elliot that have matched his contribution.

Barmby has been the most consistent performer out of the attacking players City have had since he's been with the club. Others mentioned have had moments of brilliance but disappeared for periods of the season (Geo really didn't like the winter months did he). He also has the knack of being in the right position at the right time, which alot of clubs at this level have to pay good money for - thankfully City didn't have too.

Ok great was a tad too far. "He finished well" would have been more apt since he passed the ball into an area no-one was defending. He is an excellent pro though, no doubting that one IMO.

    OLM, I'm still studying maths!

Going back to the debate on talented players: Barmby played for England on a regular basis. He was a major talent when Spurs bought him and has been deemed good enough to be bought by Liverpool and Everton as well. Bullard has never played for England and he has never played for a major club either. There is no way that Bullard is anywhere near Nick Barmby in realised or potential talent. In the 7 years NB has been at the club he has done more than Bullard will ever do.

Giovanni not in Barmby's class. The other 2 yeah. Giovanni was 10 game wonder who gave us great memories. I am afraid his shooting for the rest of his Tigers career was woeful.

Well summed up Horsham, Barmby is far and away the most talented player we have had for a long time, passion, consistancy and ability is very rare, he has em all.

Message for TWF You do not like the Pearsons, You think that the sun shines out of Bullards rear end. Why don't you go and support the Tractor Boys.

I just think he's a good player, not enough to make me support another team, don't be daft.

Also, have you found whether or not it's in the east stand yet? If not good luck with that.

None taken. I've been studying maths since 4 years old. A levels back in the 80's, a degree in maths in the early nineties. Been teaching it for 17 years....still learning!
