I saw (most of) this incident and have just blogged about it here: http://thisismyengland.blogspot.com/2012/03/disgraceful-scenes.html The gist - only tiny handful of berks behaved badly with just ONE standing out as an utter, utter tool
Thanks for this England- stupid, embarrassing and in no way representative of Rs fans, but a relief to hear that it was such a tiny minority and how well the players and officials responded. Cheers.
Thanks mate, will read the blog tmrw 'cos back at work 0430. I'm sure it will be as good as always. Night all
Phew, thank goodness for that. May well drop an old fashioned letter to the club expressing support and encouragement.
Think my thread earlier may have been a slight exaggeration of the whole situation, it was based on events I have seen on twitter.
Thanks for that England. I can understand the anger and frustration, but behaving like a cretin towards the team, who themselves will be feeling pretty sh*tty is totally out of order...
I witnessed this having travelled back from Manchester on the same train and it was pretty disappointing, but it was only a couple of individuals, fuelled by a couple of hours worth of lager on the train, and doubtless at the ground and on the train up to Bolton Let's not get this out of proportion - another great away showing by Rs fans given the current form and the earl kick-off time
