The only downside is that I am sitting with the scummers! :O

Apart from that, I am still incredibly excited for this match (regardless of all the player sales or "loans" at the moment). Sure, we are likely to be unable to actually play a competitive match against them, but it'll be an away day match with a cracking atmosphere <ok>

    WISH ME LUCK!

Don't worry even if you lose you can't get any lower! :cheesy:

But in seriousness it should be a cracking game, both teams have something to fight for. Looking forward to it as much as you are!

To carry on your so eloquently put thread.
I think a slippery smelly Skate will be easily spotted in amongst Hampshires finest.
I don't think it will be the fishy smell that gives you away, more like you will be the only one sat down when slim Ricky nets his fourth and Saints fifth :D

And we are called Skates, not Portsmouth, most of the time on here.

Which term of endearment, do you think is used more often Rickie?;)

Don't let it bother you, would be my advice.:)

I sat with the home supporters for our away day at Watford a couple of months ago- mind it won't be the same as with the Southampton Fans though Jake!

I will do, don't worry about that. For the game in Dec, my Southampton supporting mate sat in the Fratton End, and he struggled but managed to keep a lid on things when Lambert scored, and to give him his due he jumped up and "celebrated" for Ward's goal.

No, Adam - Pompey will thrash you 4-1, I reckon...........

Two goals by Reg Varney, and one apiece by Futaks and Allan - your goal from Rickie "Mines a Balti" Lambert <ok>

The heart is being ripped out of our team - so yes is the answer.

Plus our away form hasn't been good this season so................. yes again although I expect the players to give their all.

You're sitting with scumbags? What's the problem? You're evidently going to be sat with your fellow Portsmouth supporters ;) I'd be far more concerned if you were sitting in with the home support.

I hope you have a bath before the game, otherwise the smell of fish will give you away.

<laugh> That made me laugh Jake!

There is something about the Fratton End when pompey score (note: WHEN).

I took my cousin to the Forest game, he being a massive forest fan, so sat him in the Fratton End - within 5 minutes of taking our seats, everyone around us had worked out that he was a Forest fan; but not once was there any anomisoity towards him, just some great banter!

.....although....I cannot possibly imagine this will be the case for this game!

Jake - you are braver than most!
