A poor performance leaving us on the end of a bad 4-0 result followed by a 2 week wait before the next match to try and put things right.

I don't think I can remember having such a stop start period in any season as we've has over the last 4-5 weeks and it's really starting to piss me off.

We'll have the usual build up and bollox about the super fantastic England who will put in a shower of ****e performance and maybe scrape paste Wales in only the way England can (Crouch header 93rd minute, final score 1-0)

The only bonus in this break is we have time to get players back off the treatment table and out on the pitch, other than that I see the stop/ start over the last few weeks as having a negative effect onthe team. Not playing every week we seem to have lost our momentum and the fire in our bellies has dampened right down.

Roll on the 2nd April so we can try and kick start the season agian!!!!

    Rant Over

Need more of something, I'm going cold turkey here without my usual fix of weekly football (and the international stuff really doesn't bother me any more, so that doesn't count)

Oh i forgot that was next week! Massive bonus! Come on McLaren!

I'm looking forward to the start of April massively! April is the best month (many of my friends birthdays, and my own) and it also has Easter, Royal wedding and St Georges day! But at the start Newcastle are going to return to winning ways and i am (hopefully nice and routinely!) becoming an uncle!

April is busy for me too.

Wedding anniversary, my birthday, moving house, two week holiday to do bugger all thanks to the royals and bank holidays.

Great month! Even forgot the Titanic and Hitler connections (Hitler's death, I'm not a Neo!).

Wish i'd taken some days off over the wedding thing, but suppose it's only about 3 days! And barely anyone else is in, so it'll be a complete skive!

Canny wait for the F1 season to start, it feels like it has only just finished. Do you know what they're going to do with the Bahrain gp?

Until the unrest is resolved they can't plan anything. I reckon it'll be dropped for the season and see how it is for next year.

There aren't any signs of things improving there any time soon. I wonder whether they might hold a race somewhere else instead or simply omit it from the season.

There are a few Eastern counties going for contracts (buoyed by Japan only getting a 1 or 2 year extension (i forget which)) so i can see Bahrain getting dropped completely, for some sort of legal mumbo jumbo contract breach, and it going to China or something next year.

Also, was the Japanese GP affected by the quakes? I don't know where it was in comparison... I expect it will be going on unless hugely affected, Japan will not take as long as other countries to recover.

If they do then it has to be during the summer break but I can't see that happening as the break is also used to get the logistics back in place and ready for the second part.

We have the snooker starting soonish also, love a bit of snooker! Higgins or Williams to win the Crucible. Robertson will be a contender, but they are the 2 men in form!

Hopefully they ditch Bahrain, appallingly boring circuit. You've got the entire desert as your run off zone. Give me Spa, Monza, Monaco, Silverston, Montreal etc any day.

Love F1 though and i'll be up at 6am on Sunday. Also got tickets for the Belgian GP in August, can't wait.

Cricket season starts soon as well. A bit of T20 in the evening really fills a hole which the football 'breaks' leave.

I for one will be watching the Wales England game. Watching Bale and Bellamy rip the Imperial Oppressers to shreds will be AWESOME.

Didn't think Bellamy played any more?

Thought he just offered to help out Speed with the Wales setup?

Us unpatriotic as it sounds I'm really not that fussed.

I'm sick of the egostical pricks we have in the squad, the press over hyping them then kicking them when they are down after screwing up in a maych. The FA are a joke in themselves. Just fed up with it all.

I'll still look for the result, but won't go breaking my neck to watch it, especially if it's on ITV and Momotone Chilles is on.

I was asked by the missus if I wanted to watch Scotland vs Brazil at the Emirates this weekend in a friendly.

    £50 per ticket!

    Nope. I'll pass.
