This would not happen, if you watched us regularly you would know Dzeko has had more chances than a lot of managers would have given him, a player of RVPs class is not going to find himself warming the bench for long periods.

The point is RVP is not playing on his own. It is a team sport and he is a part of the system. The system that works for him and works amazingly well. Man City are ready to buy everything that has at least two legs and scores goals. There is no guarantee at all RVP will play as well for them. On contrary there is a good chance he will score much much less. That was the same story with Nasri. That was the same story with Adebayour, same story with Toure, who was made the captain (LOL). So many Arsenal players gone for City money and became nobody. What City do is just immoral. The fans think they are buying the glory. There is no glory at all in bullying the league with silly oil moneybags. All it brings is hatred. Why buying all those players, trying to win things? FA should just sell the trophy to the Arab owners and make them happy. I wonder what true ManCity fans feel.. i would feel a bit embarrassed.

This will probably be the summer transfer saga to be honest and with the euros aswel there will be less time for arsenal and rvp to negotiate a new contract, basically they should really just give him the wages he wants, maybe around £150,000 a week or somthing as i know we cant match man city's 200k a week wages. We desperately need to keep rvp here next season if we are to even think of challenging for the title, which is a huge possibility if we add 3 or 4 players in the summer. Also getting that 3rd and automatic qualifying spot would also make a huge difference because we would be guarenteed champions league football and won't have to play any qualifying matches.

Ignoring the latter part of your post as its the same old tired ****e we have read hundreds of times why do you think RVP is not going to get the service he gets at Arsenal ? have you watched our team play week in week out? have you seen the way Silve and Yaya play and the service they give the forwards ? do you honestly think he will play worse than he is now if he joins us?

The fact is he won't be joining you as there are better teams in Europe he could get into if he wished too, and money is no object for him. Coupled with the fact the Arsene Wenger will not sell to a rival PL club, means your chances of getting hold of his signature are virtually nil. If he leaves, (which he will one day), it will not be for Man City.

Apparently the Sunday Times is not the media paragon they pretend to be then. <ok>

What are you basing Wenger on not selling RVP to Man City on? The fact that we sold our top players in Nasri and Ade to Man City would suggest that we would. Admittedly RVP is better than them but if the right money comes along and RVP facies it, then there is no reason why it won't happen. It would be a bad move but we are primarly driven by money rather than success nowadays....

Of course we will sell to city. I think it is his most likely destination should he leave

We haven't said it was true, we are just discussing the possibility, which is possibily nowadays. Until RVP signs on the dotted line, anything can, and will happen.

Not sure how people can not believe it can't happen?! We only lost Nasri, Ade, Toure and Clichy to them, yet RVP is an impossibility?

I personally don't think he will go as i find RVP a man of some conviction. To go to Man City would be like selling your soul to the devil. I would lose all respect for the man.

The Sunday Times is just another rag just like most other newspapers when it comes to transfer stories. Not sure where they got this good reputation for these types of stories. Mugs.

If we dont get top 3 I think he will go. If we do I think he will sign for us for 150k a week or so.

But tbh I am not that confident. Call me a cynic if you like but we have seen it all before. Lets face it...money talks. And we havent won a trophy for 7 years either.

RVP is in a win win situation. If we get 3rd (which i think we will) and Wenger strengthens our squad, then RVP may well sign. If we stuggle to 4th, we don't buy anyone and he gets a 50p payrise, then he's off. I do think he wants to stay as he loves it here, but it's not a charity so he'll leave if theres better pickings...

If Barca comes along, he will leave without a shadow of a doubt.....

We are going to struggle without rvp next year I think. If he leaves that is. Although our back line seems to be getting there personnel wise and I am sure with wilshire and a cm signing we will look better there. And with oxo and gervinho 1 more year in the team they will look good.

But in our system (like with the chavs) that cf is so crucial. We have seen how the chavs have struggled due to torress/drogba not being up to getting the goals.

So I am worried next year. But on the other hand I am excited. I just hope it isnt a third summer of disapointment in a row. I think alot of wenger we trust fans lost faith in the summer. Another bad summer and its time to start asking questions of wenger imo.

I don't think he would go to another English team, also how many strikers do City need?

As many as they need in order to win trophies. Interesting games today. As it stands United are level with City on 67 points. I think it would be staggering if City fail to win anything this season. United sure are going to push them all the way in this title race.

Without RVP or a dominant CF, we cannot challenge for the title. Every top team needs a top quality striker to bang in goals consistently and apart from RVP, there is no one in our squad. Even with Pod joining us, there is no guarantee he will star for us.

However, i think we will have a better season next year with all our first team players coming back from injury. Even our back line is looking more assured and with Mertz. Also with OXO, Arteta, Mertz etc all having played a whole season, they can only come back better.
