In a chair
Anyone else pick up on one small part of Gaddafi's rant over the weekend: 'The Mediterraean will become a battleground'. Might just be rhetoric, but it's set alarm bells ringing with me. If he can fund and sanction the blowing up of 747's over the UK, then he can certaintly fund and sanction attacks accross the Med during the peak holidays season this year - Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Crete...all easily accessible for terrorists by a couple of days boat trip from Lybia. In the past I've never worried about travelling anywhere, fidning the more dogdy the place/region, the cheaper it is to holiday, but I've got a 6 year old now and because of him I think I'll give the Med as miss this summer. Just seems that if Gaddafi does intend to have his revenge by terrorism, the whole of the Med is quite litterally on his doorstep..

It's all bluster. Like Saddam when the British and American troops were marching towards Baghdad. Remember the 'mother of all battles'?

By the time the RAF and Navy et al take out his communication and defence capabilities he'll have **** all left.

i think it is a worry guys, this guy mouse coward whatever we want to call him will go down fighting. He wont stand and fight our armies but he will attack our confidence. He is a terrorist nothing else and will want to go in a big defiant show to the west. Safest place to holiday this year Baghdad anyone?
